10 years?
Well... aren't you the optimist.
I'm giving it 3 years, tops, before the woke shit breaks society as we knew it.
I think the big question is, what will cause the break?

Theres two answers to this. The first is that they get so deep into legislation that woke shit starts to be become law to an extremely damaging extent, more than current, to the point where it begins to fuck with day to day life (actual speech laws, monitoring, etc)

The second is that before the first thing happens, the woke trend stops profiting enough due to the alienation of the average person. Companies and groups that have been doing woke shit for years finally begin to feel the sting of the average buyer no longer being interested or wanting the product/media because of the constant in-your-face wokeness, even for apolitical people.

In the case of the former, that's probably what will finally cause an uprising of the average Joe, great example of this being the yellow vests in france destroying like 65% of thr government's surveillance system after getting so absolutely fed up with bullshit.

In the case of the latter, we would probably see a gradual shift as a new "woke" takes over. This shits a trend, and like all trends it will come to an end.

I am record-breathtakingly exhausted right now so I'm not in my best 'internet debate' state, but I really don't believe that this is a phase. This is the natural result of a population diversifying to the point that equal-sized factions have irreconcilable interests.

Non-whites have no reason to stop supporting this because it benefits them in every way possible (especially financially). Fellow-whites have no reason to stop supporting this because it cripples whites so badly. Whites under 22-25 or so just do whatever universities tell them to do, which are controlled by the latter. That leaves our "silent majority" as a shrinking minority that corporations and the government no longer has a reason to care about.

This is far beyond "fad" territory and is absolutely interfering with daily life in ways that the Satanic Panic or the Red Scare could never dream of. I don't see any path for recovery from this.

The silver lining is that the world is not America, and as the US crumbles, larger powers that didn't fall victim to this will become the new leaders of the world. This happens throughout history, and you just happened to be alive in a time to see it.

So I'll start with this; don't take the (political) blackpill just yet.

This modern wokeness is just social post modernism 2.0. We've stretched the limits of the self so far, that the vain and narrow minded now search for meaning in specialized groups. If they can no longer feel satisfied by themselves, being special as a group is is the next best thing. It will eventually turn into whatever the next thing is, which perhaps may be a turn inward.

This is the root of identity politics. Its people viewing themselves as part of a "special" whole, in an attempt to feel something. When that "special whole" comes under "attack" any solution, regardless of its insanity or it being sheer confirmation bias, is accepted to keep the "whole" special. For example, this is why pride month is a such a big deal for the LGBTBBQ crowd. If no one is paying attention, is there a point?

This overall has in recent years caused a rejection of individualism, and a larger acceptance of group think and hivemind-esque ideas, especially amongst young people who are still in a state of development.

The thing is tho, is that all signs point to this _not_ being the norm. In fact it's very, very slowly beginning to grind to halt. Why? Because both the latter and former I mentioned are beginning to creep into the lives of everyday people, and for many of them, while it might not be a full wake up call, it's the beginning of one.

I travel for a living and deal with thousands of people on a yearly basis, in places that vary from the inner cities of Minneapolis and Chicago, to the rural upper midwest. The amount of times I've had casual discussions with people and somehow, "I'm tired of this culture" or "this is getting a bit old" have come up in the past year compared to previous, is insane. I've had numerous family and friends go from questionless media consumers to thinking and pondering throughout 2020 and 2021, including a coworker who was a prime example of "consume product". Generally speaking, if you intrude enough on one's life, they'll eventually notice.

On top of this, follow rhe patterns. You mentioned non whites. Let's break this down. Mexicans/south Americans tend to be deeply religious and often shun any degenerate. Blacks are waking up at an alarming rate and I would actually argue that the vast majority of voting Black men are conservative or center-right, even if closeted. Indians and Asians tend to be conservative as is.

Look at the electoral voting maps of the US, and look where the areas of this stuff are. Limited to city centers. And where has our cultural fads traditionally stemmed from? That's right.

Its a cultural fad, albeit more of an era than a fad. We had the roaring 20s, now we have the woke 20s. It will pass, whether naturally or by rapid cultural shift. What comes after is what you should be pondering

You cant replace a full factory with machines and 1 technician and assume that all those factory workers can become technicians. There's no need for that many. Automation is a major threat for the working class, unlike the industrial revolution or any other major innovation automation results in a net loss of jobs.

A huge horde of individuals with no job prospects is a great way to end up with a revolution on your hands.

TL;DR: There are many un-machinable job opportunities for factory workers, they need to find them mostly on their own, with some outside help.
—————
That is why in an earlier post I mentioned the need to make the machines within US borders. You have the workers that would lose jobs to automation building the machines for further automation projects.

Eventually, you would hit peak automation, then you will see the number of easily available jobs fall off of the radar. That is what small and local businesses are for. People will still pay for someone’s unique designs, individual craftsmanship, etc. You can also make it easier to afford certification training for jobs that can’t be automated (no one on this earth will trust an automated wrecking ball…for now).

Essentially, as factory and (hopefully) mining jobs are lost to automation, you transition the workers that can‘t get jobs as maintenance technicians in the newly automated areas to either that business they always wanted to open whether it is running a bar, making furniture (enhanced by automation when you make a hit product!), plumbing, there are plenty of options, you just have to go find them.

If you give a clear warning that work will be automated out in 4-10 years and help train the workers in skills that let them pack up if they so choose, then it will be their fault for not taking advantage of the opportunity to have what they need to evolve with the times. I mean, there is always the meme statement of “Invest in the stock market!”, but I’m not gonna even pretend I know how that works.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I kinda think the current state of America is like the 1950s Beat Generation or the 1960s hippies.
Lots of "woke" blather is the same stuff other counterculture fringe groups spoke of.

Hmm. What happened after that? The 1970s and 1980s. The beatniks and the hippies had to grow up and rejoin society because for the most part communism does not work.

The next 20 years should be interesting if we can keep the peaceful protesters from burning everything down and if the rest of the world doesn't laugh itself to death over the shit they see Americans doing on social media.

Holy fucking shit dude, where are you getting this from? Blacks overwhelmingly vote democrat, as in 90+%. Asians, mexicans, and indians vote majority democrat.

I should specify, culture, not votes. Obviously any non-white voter group is just just going to be overrun with activists ans women and shit, and while that's currently leading the charge, all of these groups are considerably conservative in their heritage and culture, and eventually that dam will break.

Also, I mean black people, not niggers. Niggers are too busy chimping out over a pair of Jordans and shooting each other to vote. But thinking, functioning, financially stable black men? Experience tells me they lean conservative but often vote lefty out of a perceived need to, or a lack of realization of their own values. This goes for alot of people besides blacks as well

The problem with that is that the infrastructure for funnelling talent is one-sided too. The Daily Wire tries to make movies like "Run, Hide Fight", but you only hear about them because lefty rags make fun of them. Because if you make a non-woke movie studio, the only people you can find to work for you are those who couldn't find work in the more mainstream movie scene and are desperate enough to try their luck with you, and a small handful of people who made it all the way through the schools and the industry but somehow retain right wing ideology.
It doesn't help that most right-wingers (in my experience) are fucking cowards who talk a big game but easily fold the minute a confrontation (even a shouting match) comes up. The left can literally kill people (and often does), and the right's response is just to say "isn't that tragic?" but without actually doing anything about it and, in fact, often directly telling people NOT to do anything about it.

Granted maybe this is a good thing, as I wouldn't like a mostly right-wing America either, but at least I wouldn't have to deal with a lot of modern social issues.

So when you break down the racial demographics into the subgroups of people that agree with you, it turns out they agree with you.

Fascinating.
