THE ENTITY

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The article leaves out the following fairly important information apart from the last sentence which doesn’t really explain it.
It’s not that hard to create an early stage embryo. What they’ve done here is use somatic (body, not sperm or egg) cells. That is a step along the way. But the thing produced will divide happily up to a set point then die. It’ll die becasue it needs to burrow into a womb to live. When the egg js fertilised in a mammal, it rolls along dicing to that point happily, but then to go further it has to dig into the womb wall, make it’s placenta from one part of itself and the embryo from the other.
Nobody so far has got anything past that stage.
Would this be a decent way to harvest stemcells without baby murder?

It's been done already. Couple of years ago an anon successfully created a George Floyd homunculus.

Well this is awful.

Can I have a big tiddy catgirl GF now or what?
Right this way sir. If you see something with too many limbs, kindly remember that they're people too plus additional limbs are actually a blessing! Don't insult her carapace. Also, the scratching you're feeling in the back of your head is just your imagination getting excited to become part of something much greater than you could possibly fathom.

Guys, wait...

...

...okay I have just been sent an anonymous email from an inside source claiming to be a whistleblower...There is an attachment here that is supposedly an electron-microscopy photograph of The Entity taken only moments ago...This could be the first time a non-human pluripotent embraeonic being ("Non-Human PLEBE") has been captured on film...

Here is that photograph.

Absolutely astonishing.

Okay, I hate to kill the excitement but obviously we can't just assume the photograph's authenticity until it passes through the hands of experts and data scientists and everything is peer-reviewed and all the proper channels have been gone through. Even something as simple as digital photographic manipulation can't be ruled out in this day and age so it may be possible, if not extremely unlikely, that this image is not 100% authentic...though something about it makes me feel a deep uneasiness, as though I were witnessing something profound.

Upon seeing the new thread notification, I thought this was a failed attempt to make a thread about the entity from Fishtank
They can't keep getting away with this
I thought it was an ARG. I wish it was an ARG. An A&H alternate reality game would be infinitely more cool than the scientific abomination featured in this article.

I suppose it's too much to hope that he picks up a scalpel, avenges himself on his negligent creator, and knife fights his way to freedom.
