Apparently, The Fairly Odd Parents is getting a live-action reboot on Paramount+, streaming this March. It looks god awful and breaks all the rules of the original Fairly Odd Parents given that Timmy knows the fairies exist into adulthood, though previous works didn’t give a fuck, so why should this? Also, shame that Drake Bell couldn’t be back into the role for a new-age Pedo Timmy.

But for real, you think the people who made this show have anything more then passing knowledge about FoP? Nah, they probably just watched an episode or two to get the gist of the show and called it a day. That or had the unpaid intern watch it and feed them idea's when their limited pool ran dry.

And good Lord does Cosmo's voice just completely lack any energy or enthusiasm. Granted I get it, this guy (provided it's the same one) has been voicing a character for about 20 years now of a series that's more then a decade past its prime, but still, it sounds like the VA came into the booth hungover, did all the lines in one take, and bailed as soon a he could. Not that I blame him, he probably knew this shit was going to bomb the moment the director called him in, and it's not like anyone else is putting in effort.
