FF9 on PC has a really nice mod that cleans up the graphics and improves the framerate for the cutscenes. Moguri it's called iirc.
I love how the Japanese made him not black anymore in the ff7 remake. He's just a tan, bodybuilder guy.

Too bad. Vanilla has some of the best boss fights in the franchise. Satisfying to beat.
Even Firemane gave me a run for my money. You don't often see that from a warmup boss.

FF6 remaster just went up for preorder on Steam today. Looks like it probably has something to do with the Nintendo Direct in a few hours.

The pixel remaster of the 8 bit games are pretty good, I was expecting to hate them having played "superior remakes". I played FFIII's remaster which had surprisingly good music and balancing. Only issue is the screen tearing which hinders the experience.
I don't think the FFVI pixel remaster would replace the SNES version since the graphics seem a bit less detailed than the original. Also not even a live orchestra can beat the classic SNES sound chips.

SE thought it was an enhancement, but the graphics are poor by today's standards, and the gee whiz factor of Uematsu's music is lost.

Look at all of these Final Fantasy X defenders. What a pathetic state of existence. To consider any game after Final Fantasy IX worthwhile is to truly have no taste. And then to consider Final Fantasy X the cream of the crop. Hah! What a joke.

Final Fantasy 10 is a flawed game with some decent ideas to it that sadly got fucked up in translation. It's basically Final Fantasy: Water Polo Dudes vs Shin Godzilla.

It looks a lot better than the travesty that was the old mobile version, but now the sprites have a bright color palette that doesn't match the entire rest of the game, and the font is all squished down. Why can't they get any of this right? Why is this the second time they've rereleased FFVI where they'd be honestly better off wrapping the SNES version with some libretro emulator?

and the bad voice acting/syncing, the only good va's were auron's and rikku's, and the terrible sidequests, oh boy that lightning dodging to get the best weapon for the worst character in the game (yes i know lulu has great jugs but her limit break is crap)

She's an absolutely horrendous Black Mage. Her usefulness doesn't 'fade' because it never began.
Also her stupid weapon takes too long to go and hit the enemy.

Well, you see, when Tidus was being shown how to use the Sphere Grid, he dropped it like the goofy dumbass he is, and all the spheres fell out, de-leveling everyone back down to level 1. This is clearly why Lulu is so cold to him at the start of the game; as the highest-level party member, she was the most affected.
