i dunno, it's just shitty to imagine that aerith would just kind of move on after zack died. i know that cloud took on an approximation of zack's personality and it's because of that that aerith was drawn to him, but like, idk

Can't help but notice you didn't find any good romantic scenes.

Zack really only even matters to people because of Crisis Core (which is awesome as hell, but still).

IT'S SUBTLE, OKAY. YOU'RE JUST TOO AUTISTIC TO SEE IT.

i'll have you know i did not and never will cry to the ending of crisis core. even the mere thought of the ending does not bring a tear to my eyes. i fucking bought crisis core reunion and haven't even started playing it because i don't want to relive the memories.

You gotta give FF12 more credit. While the graphics look a bit dated, it's also pretty good visually. What it lacks in optical glamor it puts in better gameplay compared to FF13. I'm still salty I preordered FF13 on PS3. Learned my lesson that day that preordering is gay.

I stand with the @Lurker The tifa romance is more wholesome and cute. It also makes more sense in the remake as a subconscious defense mechanism for cloud as he remembers Aerith's death.

Now get hyped.



I love how they are just filling in all this background shit with the NPC's and giving them names and faces. It really gives this feeling of a world that was missed at first and is now coming into focus.

Same with them showing just the sheer level of chaos, and destruction as well as the police trying to do stuff. It makes things feel a lot more real.

13 feels like a streamlined version of 12 with its auto-combat, I prefer it personally because fiddling with setups and behaviors for the AI isn't very fun.

FF4 did it a lot differently, but I wouldn't say better. It's more dramatic and complicated with the love triangle, but it felt a bit more like a plot device than an earnest romance story.

I disagree.
FFXII's combat, I can only relate to like... Idk a bioware game? Lol but way more in depth.
But it's built into the game progression, so at the beginning there's very little to program, but end game you can do all kinds of stuff.
It kind of works like that programming language Scratch, with the little blocks.

FFXIII on the other hand, I would compare to something like that new Aliens game, where you're in control of the squad, not the individual unit.
FFXIII has the same kind of philosophy, where you're reacting to enemy on a larger scale than giving commands on per action basis, but it's more about "gamefeel" than anything else and keeping things fast-paced.

IMO
XII is more about what neat stuff you can do, there's a lot of room for creativity.
XIII is more about just providing a fun feeling combat system.
