There's ways to reduce the grind for single player games, for MMos there really isn't + you're relying on the trust and competency of a few dozen other people to just see the game to it's end which is a huge time sink in itself.

For example the remake, the highest amount of AP it takes to level up a Materi is 5000 AP. Post game and AP Up you get around 300 a fight it takes roughly 3-4 arena matches to get 1k AP and each arena match takes like 30 seconds on average to finish in total, it's 15-20 matches to get 5k AP, at around 30 seconds a match for 20 matches on average it takes 10 minutes to get that 5k AP. 10 minutes isn't that much of a time investment to max out a Materi, all the while your other slots are getting around 2500 AP.

You're going to need Two HP up and two MP up for each character, the weapon points are all from challenges and can't be grinded for. The only real grind outside of AP is level 50, but that actually doesn't help you much.

I'm already halfway into hard mode at chapter 9 but I have both Post game bosses defeated(which i later found out I was supposed to wait to do and have far more hard mode manuscripts but I beat them with only chapter 1 completed, no wonder I got stuck on them for a bit).

Double posting because I have seen nobody mention this.

The body Sephiroth picks up is female after the jenova fight, it's also close to the dimensions of Aerith's biological mother.

Now the aerith flashback is done in an entirely pre-rendered scene, it's not in engine. This means it's going to be much harder to pull models from, there's nothing from the pre-rendered stuff that's available because I've been scouring for the Ancients models when they walk into the Shinra museum and have that holographic movie play. When Hojo said he used every scrap of flesh and bone, it definitely alludes to female clones or at the very least re-animating her body in some capacity.

It also can't be jenova herself because that model is lacking a human head. Jenova also has much bigger boobies in this game.

I'm honestly curious where you got Aerith's biological mother's measurements, since they weren't mentioned in the game, as far as I can remember.

Cloud's mum was killed in the Nibelheim slaughter when Sephiroth razed the town to the ground, I doubt she's gonna show up.

I'll admit I never quite thought about how Cloud hasn't mentally aged, but the stuff with Aeris is pretty much what I feared.

Oh and apparently, somehow it wasn't Nomura's idea to have Sephiroth in the end...

Measure the child models to the height of sephiroth.

When she's laying down near the train you can get a rough estimate how tall child aerith was to her mother.

Child aerith has her model in game during the slum house flashback but it's pre-rendered during the playground flashback in the trainyards.

He couldn't write that idea off, though. He was too busy drawing Rufus with like 40 belts on his jacket to give a shit what his writing assistants were making, while they were desperately trying to fix the game from the mess he turned it into... Which he then overruled because it wasn't what he wanted.

You know the kind of funny thing is ...well two things

1) I believe I read that the initial idea in the original story was that SOLDIERs got implanted with Ifalna's cells not Jenova's

2) I actually kind of wondered if Hojo would have ever decided to go so far as to implant her with Jenova's cells just to see what happened. I mean, why or how else did he accidentally kill her?

Either way, I still can't go over how she's sane and not just because of the whole omniscient thing. Like seriously, she's probably had to deal with Hojo's shit as a child, watched her mom die, hear the voices of the dead whenever and wherever, and gets treated as nothing but a commodity by the world's leading power, and yet she's the most upbeat character in the story. The girl has my sympathy.

No, not dumb enough. When Tifa enters Cloud's memories there is a boss fight against undead Zack and undead Aerith, representing Cloud's failure or some shit.

As wildly outlandish as this idea is, I'm not exactly opposed to it. We've already derailed from the original plot enough as it is. Might as well keep going, and make it interesting while we're at it.

Bonus points if zombie!Aerith still has Sephiroth's sword sticking out of her.

Okay but what does this have to do with waiting until noon and firing an arrow at the sun while standing in the exact center of Lon Lon Ranch? I don't see how this provides any further proof that the Temple of Light exists or that Link can obtain the full Triforce.

Then we're truly getting the worst of both worlds. They could at least have the decency to give us a complete shit show instead of half-assing it and trying to sweep the last 2 hours under the rug. I want Mecha President Shinra fighting Zombie Aerith at Cloud and Sephiroth's wedding, god damn it.
