The General Thread

A genuine thought I had to help with homelessness would be to create/rent out a bunch of studio apartments and have 3-5 homeless people per apartment. Also supply them with stuff like shampoo, soap, razors, and weekly grocery deliveries. Each apartment is only paid off for one year, so they'll need to find jobs (and maybe a new apartment) if they want to keep off the streets.

Then I realized that I'm retarded, and this is just a homeless shelter, which already exists.

I had a dream a few days ago that my left fangs got brittle and broke against each other. The mental image is going to be bothering me for a while now.

There's a video on YouTube I found of a minor pornstar that I follow hanging out with some guy. They go out for food, eat at a restaurant. Whole thing is consensually filmed. Honestly pretty boring. Then there's a smash cut and they're back in the car and the uploader says that the "conversation got a little spicy, I love you guys (the viewers) but" then he trails off.

I think that about that a lot. So you go through all this effort to record a 20 minute hangout video and then you admit that you cut what was probably the most interesting bit? It's only weird because it was called out since the influencer was the draw of the video, don't you want to highlight them? Why even upload it if talking personal stuff is an issue? I get privacy and such but it's just so weird to me. Maybe he made a move and got shot down or something.
 
I found out recently that I tangentially know someone who works at Hugging Face and does the biases for the AI. They're actively trying to get public access shut down because of "societal harm" and believes that these tools should only be trusted to "the elite". Meanwhile I'm here just trying to enjoy my funny meme images.

I feel so sorry for my younger sister. At 6 foot something-or-other she’s freakishly tall for a woman and some teenage zoomers she came into contact with on her latest holiday assumed she was trans. She doesn’t even look like a man at all, I’d have been absolutely mortified if it was me, but I’m average height though lol
