I just got finished spending an hour and a half trying to extract a hidden track from a CD I've owned for like a decade and didn't know it had one until just today by sheer curiosity looking it up online, and there it was... both on Discogs and Wikipedia: "OH BTW THIS CD HAS A HIDDEN TRACK LOL!!!"

This particular hidden track was placed at the pregap of the first track of the CD, which means you have to hold the fucking rewind button on the beginning of the first track till you get to a certain time code that'll activate it... something that most programs don't even detect or know about,

The high-end CD and LD players of the early to mid-90's used to recognize these sub-tracks (think Pioneer) without any issue. I don't remember if you could program them to play those tracks alone or just the CD as presented in liner notes, but knowing Pioneer there was probably all sorts of features you could fuck with. Pioneer remains one of the best stuff of the period that commands high prices.

Oddly enough, sub-track tricks seemed to be 'forgotten' as tech got more 'sophisticated'. thus illustrating your issue. Hidden tracks would just be tacked on to an existing track after about 30 seconds or so of silence.

This album was recorded at different times... specifically between August 24-26 2001 and March 8-10 of 2002. The hidden bonus track is about 15 minutes of outtakes that were more than likely recorded at the August 2001 events because some of them go with jokes that aren't in the actual album (e.g. a joke about the Christian Right, which he doesn't even m,ention anywhere in the album). Lewis Black explains on track 2 that he lost a FUCK-TON of jokes once 9/11 hit, and 40 minutes was dedicated to Dick Chaney alone (although that exact length could be just exageration)

Anybody just use KF for a hour, make a couple comments, then leave for a couple days only to come back and do it again because there bored? Probably just apart of my depression and me being apathetic towards my online presence but I don't really care to sift through multiple threads of shit I don't care about for 3 hours.

Well you're not alone. As much as I find half of this userbase annoying and spergy (no matter which political side), kf has that "charm" that makes it special than reddit, twitter etc.

i've kept hearing about it for well over a year but i never bothered to try it out... been stuck to the consooming websites/platforms

Randomly decided to click the KF tab on my browser, just to see if it were back, and here we are.
Has it really been "down" since May(?), or have I just not been paying attention?

It's been on and off of the clearnet since then. There were a few months where it was TOR only. We've been back on the regular internet for some time now.

Finally caught MATI live, missed out on it the last few weeks. Put me in a good mood, catching up on a few things I’m invested in here, laughing at others, you know, the usual. Had a major surgery and have been out, very normal non life-threatening, healing going well. Still, it’s the little things that matter, those which make a day more fun.

Guessing this is the best place to post this.
Something stupid happened to me IRL and I wanted to tell everyone about it because it was the funniest thing to happen in my life in a long time.

So the other night I’m chillin at a goth club. Friend is coked out for the first time and doesn’t know how to shut her mouth yet. It was entertaining for me until she asked what I was looking at. “The cute goth chick behind you” I said

She looks behind herself and says “which one” I give her an “are you serious?” Look. Because the only two people on the bench behind her are a cute goth chick, and a fuckin tranny.

Before I can do anything she says “don’t worry, I’ll help out” Proceeds to go over to the TRANNY and told it I thought the thing was cute. My Gakked out Friend very visibly comes back over to me. And reports. “She thinks you’re hot too.”

I’m like “are you fucking kidding me?” She acts confused and like. Wwaaaaiittt you mean the other one? She proceeds to go back over and correct the misinformation to the goth girly and the ghoul.

(Keep in mind, both parties see her just walk back and forth between me and them. We’re like 15 ft away)

She reports back to me (who is now a very unwilling participant in this wingman operation) “Ok I solved it.I said you weren’t interested because you just found out she was assigned male at birth”

“What?! How could anyone possibly NOT know that?”

“Listen! now the small one said you were hot. But the MTF said you were gorgeous. So…my money should say flirt with the trans woman”

“GIRL WTF”
