The General Thread

There was this job I wanted to apply for, but 1.)the pay was so low, by the time I even got to work, I would've spent 2 hours salary on gas alone. 2.) The arts center is in a REALLY REALLY bad part of Newport News. Like, REALLY BAD AS IN ON THE NEWS EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I'm really upset about it.
 
I should have picked up the laundry from downstairs about an hour ago. Heavens, I am lazy. Also freezing. It is going to be June, and I'm freezing. I love this weather.

People going inside a virtual world to fight monsters. You don't think that's awesome?
They do have huge foreheads though.
 
My mom brought our neighbors' shih tzu into our backyard. He flushed out a cat from the bushes and chased her around the yard until she climbed a tree.

He'd make a good hunting dog. He was able to flush out and tree his prey quickly.

But yeah, that's happened to me on my phone when I was on the front page before. It went away after I refreshed. It's not a big huge problem or anything.

This week is Jack The Ripper by Link Wray. You could hear how uncomfortable I am because I recorded that while sitting down in a chair with arms, so my mobility was restricted. Next time, I'll try Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row.
 
I have my first in-car for driver's ed. today. I'm scared as all hell.
 
Been playing country songs on guitar most of the day. That is to say I've been playing guitar all day. Guitar's fun, and country's easy.
 
I had a dream and Trombonista and darkhorse816 were there. Darkhorse said that Trombonista didn't like it when men came on to her, so I jokingly asked her if she wanted to go on a date, and she punched me. Really hard. I guess I deserved it, though.

On Friday we had a meeting at work and one of the things addressed was how certain employees don't do their work and instead leave ridiculous notes for the next shift (usually mine or my boss's) with excuses as to why and describing what needs to be done.
GUESS WHAT I CAME INTO TODAY?
So much for meetings.

I tend to be a bad person in dreams. When I'm not dreaming about failing a class, I seem to dream about yelling at people.
 
^ The protests in Turkey, I presume.

It started out as a protest to a park closing and has turned into the biggest protest against the PM in 10 years. The protesters have control of the main square in Istanbul. They were just talking about it on the news.
