yeah this place is fucking reddit
It's whatever you want it to be if it means you'll take a hike and stop embarrassing yourself, friend.

We may not use our legitimate identities on here, but as members, we are individual. We do not contribute to a great 'anon' that lets many people hide behind one collective identity, but we take on a persona representing ourselves, and so it is only ourselves that we make fools out of when we act foolishly.

This makes up the standard that we should think before we speak, and you don't fit the bill. Go home.

Nah I think they should just kill themselves.

A question for the archiving experts: Sometimes while combing through the wayback machine trying to find records of deleted stuff, I come across a site that has content behind some kind of login. When trying to access the page, it shows a login screen, and I can't get any further. It doesn't appear that the wayback machine is capable of archiving stuff like this. Is there a way around this, or am I out of luck?

To clarify, this isn't me trying to archive things behind a login, it's about trying to find records of deleted things that were behind a login. Also, are the any other big auto archiving site alternatives to archive.org? I know about archive.is, but it doesn't seem to capture large swaths of random internet content automatically, only if people manually do it.

I got the new shipment today and guess what was in the box?

I'm not even mad at this point, I'm just laughing at the incompetence. I'll keep you guys updated if I ever get 2.0.
The worst one too

My book was supposed to arrive today. It said before or on January 4th. It's January 4th. No book. It's been saying "Label Created, not yet in system" ever since it shipped. Why would Amazon lie to me like this.

It's a good idea to take a break from the internet once in awhile. I find that my conduct and way of thinking starts to deteriorate if I immerse myself too deeply for too long in anything outside of my old, small circle of friends on Discord. You want to be able to present the better half of your personality in public areas like this, so it's good to make sure you have a healthy relationship with the net, and not slowly turn into an asshole.

Seeing some of these 4chan anons does help to encourage that, too.

I swear if my book doesn't come in the mail soon I'm going to........get angrier about it.

I can't stand stuff between my teeth. I even have those flosspick things in my car just in case.

The flosspick string got stuck between my tooth and snagged on my filling, which damaged my tooth. I can't believe I wrecked my tooth from flossing.

That sucked. I'm just glad my single filling was on the side of the tooth in the middle and not between the gaps.
