Linkedin creeps me the fuck out as a social networking site. They should make it mandatory when you sign up for the site how you want your privacy settings to be right when you sign up, especially when looking at other people's profiles. Kinda don't even wanna go back on there for a while.

Reading about Chris Chan going to a con reminded me one is currently underway here in Toledo I didn't think to attend. Just don't think there's anything in it for me, but nice we have one at all.

So my sister's Chinese husband is coming to the United States to visit for the month-long Christmas break. Some of the "American" things he wants to experience are a jury trial, a rodeo, and gun handling classes. Oh yeah, and a Donald Trump rally. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the last activity...

That is disturbing to say the least.

Well we do live in the United States Midwest; there isn't much to do around here honestly besides living the stereotypically conservative lifestyle. Though I find it ironic that the Chinese national visiting the United States on a tourist visa wants to see Donald Trump, considering how xenophobic Trump is.

I think my brother-in-law is just fascinated by the United States', uh, cultural quirks. This is the same man who wants to have his United States wedding ceremony in a church despite not being a Christian.

I feel your pain (I suppose I've been sheltered a bit in my little nook'n cranny Ohio.

Take him to East St. Louis one day.

The other day I had a dream. The funny thing was it was a sequel to a dream I had a long while back that I had forgotten about until this dream.

It was a zombie dream, BTW. I seem to have those often.

Combine the gun handling and the Donald Trump rally. Tell him that in America Land if you kill somebody famous you get to replace them because the government require a certain number of extremely rich cunts. He's Chinese, he'll believe you.

So Donald Trump makes an appearance at a rodeo with a whole bunch of gun-toting right wingers. My brother-in-law shoots Trump. That way he can be at that jury trial too, as the defendant!

Either that or he'll get lynched which is another fine old traditional thing Americans do to people with funny coloured skin

So I can't tell if I have bad allergies or a slight cold right now. I had my flu shot at least a week ago, so it can't be that. I have clear post-nasal drip, sore throat/inner ears, slight headache. Antihistamines aren't really doing anything. Maybe I should just take a shot of vodka and swish it around my mouth to kill any bad microbes on my tonsils. Alcohol does kill bacteria/viruses on contact, right??
