How sad is it that the biggest account accomplishment you can brag about is “we won a Kid’s Choice Award”?

All that being said, it still feels like a slight that the "Ultimate Collection" will only offer a digital copy of "Answer the Call." This only further calls attention to the fact that Sony is trying to slip the film into the set at the eleventh hour and, one assumes, doesn't want to invest the time and money needed to add a Blu-ray version of the movie to the collection. So while it is a correction, it only goes halfway in addressing criticisms that the studio kowtowed to the world's most toxic "Ghostbusters" fans by leaving Feig's reboot out in the first place.

First off: Answer the Call. That retrofitted title could've have been more fart-sniffing if it tried. Secondly, no fucking shit they "kotowed" to the "toxic" fans. Wanna know why? BECAUSE THOSE FANS ARE ALSO THEIR LIFELINE, YOU FUCKING MONGOLOID. There's a large proportion of the fanbase who wouldn't give Soyny their money if the 2016 fuck-fest had been included. No money = no (underage) hookers and blow = unhappy executives. It's almost like filmmaking is a BUSINESS, or something! :roll:

Since Afterlife ended with the containment unit seemingly being under threat, maybe the next one will be about Ghostbusters having to recapture a bunch of different ghosts, including characters from the animated series.

I always wonder how many people had to stay away from the theaters to make that film underperform. Are there that many basement dwelling KKK incels in existence? Who still believes this narrative, beside the usual dangerhairs?

I know I'm an entire month late, but then again so is Adum from YMS, who mentioned Paul Fieg throwing a fit on the new episode of Sardonicast:

so I looked it up, and it costs a freaking fortune, but there's also a 3-in-1 Blu-ray release for much much much cheaper that still omits 2016, lol.

If anything, including 2016 as a code feels more like insult to injury to me, like it's present just enough to prove that it's a lesser thing of no keepsake value, unlike the other three movies that got full-on actual discs for you to keep on your shelf, and enjoy in the maximum quality possible.

Damn, RIP Ivan Reitman, sucks to lose another key Ghostbusters figure and so soon after Afterlife, at least he got to live to see it get released after so many delays.

Not only am I a massive Ghostbusters fan, but he also produced Heavy Metal, which had the first cartoon nudity I ever saw lol (but seriously, it's a really cool movie, especially love the segment Harry Canyon and it's depiction of 2031 NYC)

And of course Animal House and Stripes are comedy classics, I feel really bad for Jason Reitman to lose his father so soon after finally releasing Ghostbusters Afterlife, from a joyous occasion to tragedy in just 2 and a half months...
