I know he's pretty much in on this, but if Hector truly was Byuu's friend, wouldn't he be ecstatic to hear that maybe Byuu didn't 41% himself? If I heard that my friend died from across the sea and got told that maybe he's not actually dead, at least I wouldn't perpetuate that he is dead and anyone who says otherwise is just coping. And at most I'd hold onto hope that someday I'd get to speak with them again. Hector choses to do the former for reasons I'm not sure other than taking down the fruit farms in "vengeance."
Makes me wonder that if Byuu is truly dead, then Hector is using a dead man (his FRIEND mind you) as martyr for his own sick kicks.

What a sicko. Even people like Chris-chan never stooped that low to get back at KF.

Which one of you is that IP address? Funny, but stop tipping. Also Bilorv doubling down on the consensus logic by saying "if wikipedia existed at the time when people believed the Earth was flat, we would have said that as fact."

Edit: They just fucking closed it :story:

"The consensus says it's true, and the purpose of wikipedia is to maintain that consensus. It doesn't matter whether it's factually true or false." - a wikipedia Jannie

How?

That "flat earth" analogy is pretty good, I'll use that myself. "If Wikipedia existed in 1491, they would have insisted the earth was flat." And they're fucking proud of it.

For years, Wikipedia insisted there was a Hindu pope, and banned Hindus who objected. Wikipedia is a joke.
the flat earth is not a good analogy. at the time everyone thought it to be the case. it was hard to find evidence. practical evidence of spherical earth requires understanding of what's going on.
my plato snarky comment works way better. choosing to define concepts with the farts of a celebrity with delusions of grandeur only to have a drunk retard that gives no fucks call you out

I want this quote to be mounted on a wall and to be used whenever Wikipedia is ever brought up anywhere in any discussion.

Well, either that or you could, like, close your browser, take a break from Twitter, go outside, meet some new people, possibly touch a little grass, and get a bit of perspective on things. Literally wanting to eradicate people because you disagree with their stance on something, or despise the actions they take within a completely legal and democratic framework, is a little concerning.
I get it, some people get mad at what they see and read on the internet. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. But when it escalates into posting retarded shit like that, whether semi-ironic or not, it's definitely time to reevaluate how you're spending your time.

Best of luck, my friend.
>Very Average Redditor
Either this nigga is too good at parody for his own good or he ACTUALLY thought he was being ironic with that name lmfaoo

True from the start, Hector's behaviour doesn't match the situation he claims to be in.

Put yourself in Hector's shoes. If someone sent me a google document telling me he'd just listened to a mutual friend kill himself, I wouldn't just blithely tweet a link to the document. I'd be demanding to know why the listener hadn't been calling emergency services and trying to prevent the suicide. I'd be fucking furious this person had done nothing, and I sure as hell wouldn't protect his anonymity.

Hector's a dramatist who can't stage a drama, because he doesn't understand what people do in real situations.

at the time everyone thought it to be the case.

Some people had apparently heard of Eratosthenes. Not consensus, though.

Byuu draws breath as we speak and not amount of lying from Hector nor the DDOSing from the trannies who got the panties they stole from their sisters in a knot over his "suicide" will ever be able to change it. All they can do is cry "Transphobia!!!" on Twitter in the face of Byuu getting stone cold busted as being for as alive as the day is long.

My favorite story was the Scots Language Wikipedia fiasco, where one random teenage kid wrote over 23,000 articles, in "Scottish", without actually knowing a thing about the language. Apparently this caused issues when unsuspecting people went to check the Scots Wikipedia, read through the articles, and came to the erroneous conclusion that Scots was just English with a few different words.

The difference there, of course, was that Scots Kid wasn't malicious. Scots Kid was genuinely trying to be helpful, and kept going because almost nobody was reading the Scots edition of Wikipedia for years, and therefor nobody ever challenged him.

Compare and contrast with assholes like Bilorv, who are fully aware that they are full of shit, but will happily fill Wikipedia with deliberate lies because they are, literally, Orwellian villains come to life.

No, it's not a "consensus view" that Byuu is dead. That is a view put forward by preciously one asshat on Twitter (who was lying) and by a couple ideologically-motivated turboautists on Wikipedia. Any other 'source' which claimed Byuu has died was either citing the Twitter liar,, or citing the Wikipedia article - which leads to the absurd position of a Wikipedia article trying to justify it's own 'consensus status' by citing a census created by itself. Literally a circular argument: "I know my article is true because I said it was true."

I remember a prof long ago who started out the class by basically just saying if you cite wikipedia you automatically flunk. I thought that was a bit out of line at the time but now I fully agree.
you could get around it by citing the sources wikipedia uses in their source section. don't be a retard and put wikipedia in the sources cited section of your paper.

doesn't byuu have to eventually reveal himself. likely to renew his passport.
or his drivers license, he likely has to pay insurance for various reasons. so if he's alive, there's some kind of paper trail and it would likely show up.
