Say the perks are not especially enticing to someone or they're just worried about their billpay ID getting out after a hack but they'd still like to support the site. Will there be a way to just send whatever amount without getting perks? Do you need a billpay ID for this? If so would it be possible to setup a public billpay ID people can just send whatever to without any expectations?

I also saw you mention pro rata perk duration. That is an elegant solution but if you do have the once-per-month perk of featuring things it might undermine the "full price" without some tweaks. An extreme example would be paying $0.25 then featuring something in the few hours of Kiwi Gold® that gives at the beginning of the month. Then again I wouldn't mind all that much if we we got a once-a-month shit show on the first. We could even pull out some dank "summer poster" memes but monthly.

Your ID cannot be used to track you. You'd simultaniously need to know which account has which ID, and also have access to the check deposit information, which is 100% physical (in our hands) or at the bank. There's no one who will have access to both at the same time.

No. Any check or USPS money order addressed to Lolcow LLC received at the PO Box will be deposited, as per how we handle it currently. If you want to just send checks nothing is stopping you from doing so right now.

Highlights are selected 5 per 5 pages. Features and Postmarks are always highlighted. They do not take up Highlight slots. So, a Postmarked post is always a highlight and is an addition. They should be suggested where it would improve readability in thread skimming.

But I think it needs some style changes to make it look less like the surrounding thread. There was a Community Happenings post where the guy linked an OP which included a video in its preview summary. However, he also embedded the video in the CH thread, so the summary had what looked like the video with a "Play" button in the middle, then the actual video was underneath. So when I wanted to watch the video, I clicked what looked like the player, but it just took me to the thread. Maybe the header text in the preview should be a different color too, just to reduce ambiguity between text and a link.

It may be a donation to one of the ten commandments related to gossip but it would technically also be helping out USIPS. I think that will help more than just the farms.

In addition I think it would be cool to do something similar to what newgrounds does with premium memberships where profile borders can be different shapes if you pay monthly.

Has there been any public statement about why Zelle doesn’t work for kiwi farms’ donations?

I recently discovered through friends that the study drug market uses and prioritizes cryptocurrency but also accepts Zelle.

If a bank is it OK with you as a customer and they are part of the Zelle network, seems as solid as keeping the bank account.
