Profile privacy was deliberately broken more than 10 years ago, and I have deliberately broken it every time it unbroke. Today, I restored it. You can now control who can see or post on your profile
Shit change that no one asked for, you can’t even see the profiles of users that haven’t logged in for awhile

The problem with that is that 600 people donating $5 or $10 doesn't cover the costs.
Business accounts sometimes have a cost per check deposited, also the staff time to deposit them so there's some diminishing returns as you go smaller even if you can keep the same absolute amount of dollars contributed.

Anyone have the stats on the legal fundraiser? How much people said they'd donate vs how much actually got donated?

as a teaser, I'm working on the way that the postmark/feature system works. I might be able to update it tonight if I keep working at my current pace. My plan is currently to let all current T&H submit postmark requests, and the new system will allow feature requests. these will appear in the standard mod queue.

Postmarks and features will also issue alerts to relevant users.

Stupid questions, but can I use money orders instead of a check? Its a great way to dispose of my loose cash at the end of the week, I visit the grocery store more than the bank.

Also, can I donate more? So like I commit to $20 base but I bump it to $30 or $40 depending on the week?

I don't care either way, Ill still subscribe and write the check regardless Im just curious about mechanics.

Needs to use your account's billpay id, so a money order wouldn't work.

You can write it in the memo line and it will be processed, I'm encouraging Billpay over manual checks so that I can predict reliable monthly income.

Whatever the price, if you send more or less, it will be applied pro rata. i.e. half is half a month, twice is two months.

Since I was in the neighborhood I've also changed two other QoL things related to highlights:
1. Top-side >> will now take you to posts on the same page.
2. Bottom-side << will now take you to posts on the same page.
3. When post >> is unavailable, there will be an empty space so that you do not click the share button.

I've changed a bunch of shit with how features work so I'm doing more testing. If it looks good I may deploy the updates tonight.

I am extremely tired of @Six trying to ragebait Ukrainians in the Sneed thread. You've been giving him unfair leeway for months now, and all it does is derail the thread. Nice to finally see proof of it. At this point I hope @Two just finds him IRL and actually kills him for it.

Am I reading this correctly?
Getting "True & Honest Fan" perks goes from a one time $20 donation to a monthly donation to maintain status?
Will this change be retroactive to all existing "Fans" or just apply to new "Fans"?

Access to a board for status reports
Could anyone please explain what this board means?
