And they were incredibly indignant - once they realized three seconds into the call that you weren't old and gullible they would get really shitty with you. You would repeatedly get angry spam calls from a frustrated pajeet who already knew you weren't going to chomp at the bit. The scammers just got angrier and shittier as time went on because they were throwing more manpower of increasingly lower quality at a drier and drier wellspring, culminating in everybody i know getting half a dozen calls a day from angry pajeets who feel entitled to your money.
One thing I've noticed by watching the more militant scambaiters like ScammerRevolts who do things like brick the PCs, servers, laptops etc. of the scammers he baits is that during goyvid a lot of the scammers either ended up working remotely (dunno how serious jeetland was about the whole containment of the scamdemic) or just straight up went into business for themselves. This is even more true now, 4/5 videos where the more militant scambaiters hack into the webcam of the scammer now shows the fetid hovel the scammer lives in rather than an office space, along with the fact that the files the scammers have show that they're a 1-man op. Before goyvid this was very rare and pretty much all of the scammers that got hacked showed that they work for an entire scam call center.

It's kind of unprecedented though for a large group of immigrants to come here and immediately settle into white collar jobs, buy fancy houses, and drive nice cars. When our native born college graduates are struggling more than a recent immigrant, something has gone terribly wrong. And sure, large waves of European immigrants took time to assimilate but eventually they did because they came from adjacent cultures, went all in on learning English, and because there were no gibs back then you had people coming here for the right reasons. With Indians, there is a sense that they despise you and still want to live out their shitty backwards culture, but do it here because they want nice stuff. It's gross.
