It's probably why Indian English uses so many outdated phrases. Believe it or not (and it's been said earlier in the thread), but a lot of jeetisms originally come from actual Brits, but from the way they spoke back in the Victorian era. "Each and every[thing]" is one of them, "do the needful" is another infamous one, "prepone" is another, putting "kindly" whenever you make any kind of request is another frequent one, pronouncing yes more like "yis" is another. Jeets are so retarded that their variety of English has been in a stasis for 150 years, even weird negro varieties of pidgeon English evolves over time but jeets are forever stuck in the mid 19th century.
