I have a couple collections of these old WWI newspapers (you can find bound collections with months worth of newspapers) and they suck the jeets off pretty hard. It's funny, because I also have some first hand accounts written by Germans and they universally talk about how shit they are. I think Junger himself has a section on it in Storm of Steel where he mentions that they were being forced to charge by an Englishman with a whip. Some of the propaganda is egregious. The internet in 2026 fucking sucks but I'm still glad that the journalist monopoly on information has been shattered.

The biggest reason Irish Independence gained any momentum in the 20th Century was that Irish Home Rule (Ireland having their own devolved parliament within the Act of Union of Great Britian) hinged on Irish recruitment into WW1. John Redmond was the Conservatard controlled Opp leader of the Irish Parliament Party whose whole political career was selling "Trusting The Plan" would gain more autonomy and privileges. It was revealed that Irish Home Rule would never happen after 1000s of Irishmen died in WW1 which seriously radicalised everyone to trigger the War of Independent and later Partition of Ulster.

I thought that the word "nigger" came about because of people with thick southern accents mangling the word "negro" over time and inventing a new word. Like they started saying "negro" which became "negrer", then "negger" then "nigger". Try saying them in order, in a thick southern accent and you'll see what I mean.

The supposed origin from Tuareg slave traders is interesting and also possible, had never heard of that one.

The hysteria about Belgium crippling black plantation workers is largely false since it was the Omani and Arab-Swahili slavers who would outright cripple their slaves to make them dependent on their owners when within a plantation. Belgium fought the Congo-Arab war in order to force them out.

Sure. By the time you get to the transatlantic jewish-colonial slave trade, a lot of europeans encountering "n'gheren" were just going to hear a word for "black". But you can find slave auction flyers that emphasize that what they've got on the block are some GRADE A PRIME NIGGERS.

You can also see n'gheren appear within American slave culture, as there is all the talk of "being sold down river".
Which, yes, is usually interpreted about mississippi/plantation slavery being seen as somewhat worse than the sort of slavery you were likely to experience in the north/midwest, but you can see this threat appear all across the Americas, and it really doesn't make sense as a practical threat in, say, the Carribbean or Georgia.
As a vestigial reference to African (i.e. in Africa, by Africans) slave trade, it makes perfect sense.
It's one experience all of their ancestors shared; the point where everything went wrong.

It's pretty much why the US needs to do away with birth right citizenship and just tie it to net worth.

Like a simple financial check of say $250k in assets is required to prevent deportation.

It literally fixes every single social problem in America. You can't fix poverty. It's a way of life for too many animals. And the US subsidizing poverty is fucking insane. At the very least, it needs to be criminalized and results in the loss of civil rights.

I don't know about all birth right citizenship, but if the parents are here on a visa, the kids should not get citizenship just because they were born in the US. They should have to go back when the visa is over with their parents and if the kids want to come back on their own later they have to get their own visas.

Agreed that birthright citizenship should go away, but turning citizenship into a financial litmus test based on "assets owned" seems unwise. Jeets and mexicans would just abuse the system by pooling their money for a house and then claiming that the 10 of them in 1 house are all the children of the one guy whose name is on the deed.

Also I'm not Marxist in the least, but a lot of rich people (including celebrities and politicians) are dumb and/or malicious and have no issue with people "lesser" than them being screwed over. With the exception of business owners who actually built their own businesses, a lot of rich people don't contribute to America's well-being in any meaningful way besides indirect methods like investing in stocks. And that doesn't require one to be a citizen and arguably doesn't actually benefit the average American.

The real solution to citizenship is both race-based and IQ-based, but even a lot of "conservatives" aren't ready for that conversation.
