I understand that:

-use torrent program to get file (which is the safe one these days?)
-have a hard drive large enough to store the file, or (maybe 2 to do Raid 1? dont remember how to do that) Or just have 2 HDDs and have a copy on each
-once you have the file how do you navigate it? Would it look the same as the online version if you had the right program?

Can anyone expand on this, and perhaps we can make a guide for dummies.

i've been having difficulties with internet archive / wayback machine for a couple of weeks. it's dropped tasks in the middle of archiving, skewed the source https, and given false archive links when it does complete the task. after reading this, i went through my screenshots of the errors, and discovered that most of the errors happened when what i was trying to archive was found by using "kiwifarms" or "kiwi farms" for the initial search, specifically when searching on twitter. the archives that i created from random scrolling or from news articles have gone through, even if there was a queue. my suspicion is that the captures are being throttled with keywords, as well as the actual archives being made unavailable to the public.

There still has been 0 proof, or even a statement that ANY law enforcement was ever contacted over that VERY SCARY VERY REAL bomb threat.

1. qbittorent seems to be pretty bloat-free from my experience (someone correct me if it's full of glowy shit). If you trust the torrent source, the risk is minimized.

2. This is the part that interests me. Pages can be saved offline very easily, but I'm not sure how well the formatting, embeded media, navigational structure and intra-site links will be presevered. It would be trivial to search the whole site dump for plain text html, but that would be cumbersome for the inexperienced. You'd have to know the regular expressions you're searching for.

Someone please weigh in if you know more.

Twitter Jews do not like her because she tweets things about Judaism that are incorrect. Most of the people tweeting about Kiwifarms have threads on the site or are friends with those who have threads.
