Tell us your best invention idea. It can be realistic or ridiculous.

I'll start off:
It'd be great if we had a way to make all the leaves fall off the trees in our yards at once.
That way I wouldn't have to keep going out day after day to make it look like I didn't do anything within an hour.

How about the rest of you?

I know the technology exists, but it hasn't exactly been implimented yet. Exoskeletal braces- basically, a knee brace or arm brace, that kind of thing, but it's a powered exoskeletal frame with a built in-battery. Basically, it brute forces its way into giving you full use of that limb by leaning more on the machine than your actual limb.

Emoticons are great for displaying emotions online, but we also need flavicons to display flavor and smellicons to display odor.

Can't wait for it to be a standard feature in online games and I'm sure nobody would ever use bad flavors or odors.

a laser beam that you fall into that burns off the filth off your body so you never have to take a shower, i hate having to go through the effort every month or so

I don't think that would work, as the real purpose of a shower/bath is to remove dead skin (it's quite easy not to get your skin dirty), and you can't just burn all of that stuff off.

Well I have an idea for a multi-purpose respirator that attaches to military helmets, but I'm not sure I want to say more, in case I want to make it in real life.

Wow...this started off way more seriously than I had expected.
