Again, if he built around being a pompous, misinformed loser, it would help. Instead, he plays it as serious or witty, and comes off as laughably naive.

Yeah, if Bores played up that his character is a bumbling moron, it could actually make for a pretty solid, amusing show.

I watched a few of his videos when they first came out. I thought they were kind of funny, but not funny enough to actually subscribe to his channel.
 
I liked that Twitter account that would post Irate Gamer clips without context. I think that's the only way I've found him funny.

The guy who runs the blog is BatDanNight, aka Daniel Hirsch. I don't believe he's made other blogs, but he did inspire other anti-Irate Gamer blogs such as batdansucks (which was meant to trick Bores and others) and Bugging LadyBuggin. These blogs are dead now, yet Hirsch continues to rage.

I'm surprised Hirsch has never gotten a thread. He's a bigger a-log than the original.

Wondering, what does BatdanNight think about the current state of AVGN under Screenwave and Mike Matei?

Embarrassingly, I actually found Irate Gamer first. People in the comments kept calling him a AVGN ripoff, so that's how I found out about AVGN.

i dont hate batdannight, but when you compare him to the other chris bores a-logs, he just has ass written all over him

tbh, he did have the nerve to bug ralph baer, who helped create the magnavox odyssey, into looking at chris's review on his console (at least, i hope it was baer and not just batdan impersonating baer)

BatDanNight did indicate AVGN is weaker under Screenwave, but I think he's more pissed at AVGN for doing a video with Irate Gamer than anything else. He said he lost some respect for James over it.

You would think Irate Gamer's complete irrelevance would satisfy him.

Instead, he's helping Bores by keeping him relevant on one site.

He did a Ghostbusters NES review that he advertised as co starring the black Ghostbuster, but he really just paid him to read a generic message via Cameo. Chris still treated the footage as if he was actually a costar, and that was pretty unintentionally hilarious.

He also did a review with the AVGN or something.
