at least he's not got the real thing. Jace's mom is probably letting him build contraptions in the basement. I think she knows deep down that her son is a retard with no craftsmanship skills so she has nothing to fear.

Or I'm wrong and Jace turns out to be a secret mater blacksmith or something and comes up with something way more impressive than knife-stick. I wonder If Jace has ever had a knife that wasn't a massive piece of shit, he seems to have absolutely no conception of quality.
