If i can ask then, what gameplay wise don't you like about it? Does it just feel too similar to XIV for you personally because that's understandable if you don't like alot of the stuff XIV incorporated
problem with XV is that they toned down the game
too much. combos don't need heavy executions now, as any BnB into supers can kill if you have full bar. not like full bar didn't kill in 1 combo in other games but here's this:
-02 and 02um conditions were way fucking hard. you had to run after activating max and it was very tight in many situations, even on corner
-xiii made it easier and added dash after max activation, but added damage scaling and combos took ages to finish
-xiv added literally running after max activation, wall splat CDs and autocombos for more reliable confirms, which was too beginner friendly. but it still had solid XIII-ish combos and they were fun to watch
-xv said fuck complexity and took the SFV route to ease up combo conditions. you had to work your ass up to do damage in 02um and XIII. XV added cancels from LV2 supers into LV3s and every ToD is too simple now.
it's also because I like neutral kof over combo kof and it happened around orochi saga. pretty sure shit already got insane in kof2000 with strikers but 96 still had its own charm with grapplers (those times when command grab whiff wasn't a thing) and 98 with CD neutrals. remember Chris jump CD? yeah
