Did not know what, I'm not really following KOF, but I just remembered the King thing and thought it needed to be in the thread. KOF13 was a while ago but the Reee then sounded exactly like todays Reee.
 
South town DLC trailer just dropped and everyone gets an extra costume. They should have gave everyone an extra costume from the start

Everything should have been already in the game through an unlock system rather than DLC, but this is current year where game companies always nickle'n'dime their customers.

Today, SNK announced an official King of Fighters XV weekly online tournament slated to begin next week on Thursday, May 26th, 2022. The KOF XV ICFC Weekly Series online tourney will be held every Thursday in three regions: Asia, North America, and Europe. Regional champions will be determined through a series of 9 rounds in each region. The competition will be based on a points system, with points awarded according to the standings in each round from Round 1 to Round 8. The TOP 8 overall point scorers will advance to the Final of Round 9. To register for the tournament or to learn more, visit SNK's official website for the KOF XV ICFC Weekly Series.

it already got lot of things right since console open beta release. a year of DLC release schedule was already out since the end of 2021.

after Haohmaru, Nakoruru and Darli Dagger from Samsho19 release, SNK either will work on most requested characters like Kim, or keep coping at Capcom for jewing all of their fans with 0 effort and sell KOF NFTs.

At least they modelled new outfits for them. Was expecting the orochi team to just be a recolor of team cys with different animations. Hoping they're put in the teams alternate outfits section. Versions of the same character existing in the same space triggers some crazy autistic sensory response in me lol. Hated Mario games that have baby Mario for this reason.

thinking about how SNK targeted North American audience for XV, looks like they got what they wanted. this is what you get when you make a game for ez troon and ching chong money without any passion for the series.

I see that nobody mentioned it, but Orochi CYS trailer has been out for a while.
My take on these is they all look stupid but Yashiro stands out as always. I think goenitz uniform looks bad on them but luckily SNK knew people wouldn't like this KOF MUGEN inspired shit so they also added colorswaps of original costumes just like how it was in 97.

Now SNK will make you wait for Samsho team till autumn and FINALLY work on Season 2 for very likely Kim and other fan favourites.

Funny thing about that EVO tourney, day 2 was nothing but Mexicans, so you never saw anyone else like that with the exception of this one where people were wondering if it was a legit woman or tranny

Ok, not surprised at all, that Mexicans would be into fighting vidya games when not chugging beer or knocking/beating up their wives for not making them their homemade tortillas on time.

Yashiro looks good (gimme them deviant ratings) but I'm unimpressed by the other Team Orochi's costumes
