The reaction of the general public to the HBO show's second season will probably determine if they make a third game. And how many copies of the first two games get sold with all the promotion the show will receive. If the show is loathed then the longevity of the franchise being nonexistent will be established enough that they won't proceed any further. They just canceled one project already so the series is likely in jeopardy. Not that anyone will miss it it seems.

I think the rougelike mode is just going to be an addition to Sony's MO, especially since it's announcement was just after God of War Ragnarok had one thrown into it, and more so since there was a new leak showing how well TLOU2 and many other PS4 and a few of the early PS5 games had sold, showing that Last of Us 2 didn't sell after it released. almost like you shouldn't be pumping out glorified movies you can kind of interact with disguised as video games 24/7.

It's all going to come down to how S2 handles Abby. The Joel-in-One is a minefield in of itself because the whole game is basically built around that, but moreover the whole message of 'revenge is bad' falls flat when Abby doesn't show any remorse whatsoever to how her obsession gets everyone around her - except of course the forced trans kid - killed.

Is a TLOU2 PC port even still in the cards at this point? Given the amount of damage control already employed, I'd have to think Druckman would try to kill a port by all means lest modders get their hands on Abby.

Or, god forbid, actually make mods that develop the game into a game.

I've heard excuses about how the code for Bloodborne is so spaghetti that porting it would be too hard but I find that hard to believe. It's just an actual videogame without black and trans women in it so they don't care about it. It is a release that would make Chuds happy so what you will get is a PS5 remake of Bloodborne that makes everyone a nigger and ugly.

I actually uninstalled the Demon's Souls remake five minutes after starting when I realized the opening cinematic had the characters helmetless so you could see one was a nigger and the other a woman.

Yeah no, this is going to bomb real bad. there is no way that they'll make enough money without being forced to make a PC port to try and get the Steam audience since the game is bloody hated and we know how much it was able to sell the first time around after it was launched. Almost all of this "new content" besides the "rougelike mode" that will be tacked on is what literally any GAaS title that exists do as updates to keep people playing the game.

Actually, the PS5 Version of Demon Souls was developed by Bluepoint Games, an American company that's basically Sony's Grezzo, as in the thing they're best known for is porting over other people's games to newer platforms though they only had one original game, and Sony actually owns the IP of Demon Souls and Bloodborne according to the director of Dark Souls 3, so guess who mandated to the added niggers and shit that wasn't needed.

Yeah, it basically was TLOU2's multiplayer (Factions 2) that they sliced off and decided to mutate into a standalone live service game. They strung gullible fanboys along for years promising it'd eventually come. Only to now turn around and go "lol, nvm".
