Troy Baker is doing NFTs now
"The newest crypt-bro supporter on the block is Troy Baker, the voice actor famous for playing serial murderer Joel from The Last of Us and crazy Far Cry 4 dictator Pagan Min."

Serial Murderer Joel, huh?
Christ, they really knew how to turn 100% of this game to ash in my mouth.
Why does Cuckman have such a severe hate boner for Joel? Daddy issues?

Somewhat related, buuuuut…

Take a guess how it’s going over.

Even Abby's face model couldn't resist dunking on Soy Baker's NFT announcement:

Troy Baker's descent into lowcowdom has been pretty amusing to watch. He pissed off all the TLOU2 detractors with his idiotic comments about Joel and now he's pissing off even the woke retards with this NFT shit. His tryhard douche attitude also gives me Cliffy B vibes.
I hope he becomes too toxic to touch. I'm sick of hearing his dumb voice in 90% of games.

What'd he say about Joel?

Be careful what you wish for, the guy below him is very eager to be in those same 90% of games.
In fairness to Tidus, he and Yuna were forcing themselves to laugh at the difficult journey they were about to take, and even the other characters thought they had gone crazy. The game can have some inconsistent voice acting (I'd blame that on the game being the first voiced FF title and odd direction), but this scene was intentionally done this way even in the Japanese version.

Back on topic, I still have no clue what NFTs are. They're clearly bad given how Baker's been ratio'd, but I'm not sure why they are.

What'd he say about Joel?
Can't find the exact quotes but he did a bunch of podcasts where he was completely up his own ass, acted like TLOU2 is some sort of misunderstood masterpiece and shat on people who didn't like what happened to Joel.

There was IIRC also this incident where he was doing some sort of Youtube show with Nolan North but eventually left because he didn't feel he was getting enough attention. Dude's a diva, maybe he always has been.

Cuckmann had them watch it in order to make the dismemberment/gore as realistic as possible.
If I remember right the devs of Mortal Kombat X and 11 had to do the same thing and they whined about it. If they need someone to watch freak industrial accidents for authenticity they could have always just hired me. My only rule is I won't watch the brick video again because that video is actually disturbing.

That weird moment when Abby has the moral high ground.
Seems to me that some components that make up this Frankenstein's monster of a character were less than thrilled with the result.

Her face model was downright disgusted by her actions, and Laura Bailey admitted to her being a "difficult character" to portray.

Hell, is there really anyone that genuinely likes her as a character instead of liking her out of spite towards the "chuds"?

That's weird if true because the gore in MK has never been realistic. We're talking about a game featuring a guy who can uppercut someone's head and spine (but not ribs) off their body and a guy who incinerates people by breathing fire and a humanoid robot that shoots planet-destroying bombs out of its chest. It was always unrealistic if not downright silly.

For that matter, what gore does this game really have? Joel-in-one scene aside, it's mostly just people getting shot, right? People who get shot fall over with their body intact, maybe after stumbling a bit first. Not typically very gory unless we're talking close-range shotguns.

Druckmann, I imagine, but that's the obvious answer.

The cynical in me believes that He hates Joel because people loved Him more than Ellie even after all the push to put Her forefront, and throwed a tantrum like an immature instead of going with the flow
Oh no.

He hates Joel and Ellie because he didn't create them; they were another person's creations. Niel is an insecure incompetent hack who basically should've been cancelled due to his efforts to get rid of the woman who helped make them and a lot of other better Naughty Dog "serious" characters. He did this because he like that delusional idiot Troy, are divas who delusionally believe they have talent.

Niel is a loser who tears his peers and audience down, since he knows he's a buffoon who can't make something that can stand on what it itself has.

And when he did try to make something himself: he ended up making a game where all of the zombies are women called Mankind, where you have to shoot through all the women zombies to help transport then-to-become-Ellie in hopes of finding a cure, which would make Joel killing everyone at the end have way more misogynistic undertones. Only reason that didn't happen was because Bruce Straley and all the female employees at Naughty Dog thought that idea was fucking stupid and needlessly bad optics for everybody involved.

Maybe Neil was bitter after Straley left and decided to still headcanon that story and Joel being a sexist pig who needed to die. Would honestly make more sense than Abby killing every person named Joel across the U.S.A., the whole doctor's daughter plotline, and pretty much everything else he was going for.
