The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

It's proof that Niel legit is so booty-blasted by being told how shitty this game was he refuses to move on. To the point he's nuking the company and will nuke the TV show with it. He wants to force that until it's successful or he's removed from any sources of influence. Kind of like the Baby Geniuses guy honestly.

Either that or somehow they lost every asset they had but the Last of Us through incompetence and brain drain. I could buy either or tbh.
What's this about the baby genius guy? What he do?

Don't underestimate how big Cuckmann's ego is, and how desperately he wants to get rid of the old characters, to push for his own set of unlikeable ones.
Cuckmann has free reign at Naughty Dog, at HBO he has to deal with executive demands, polling, market research ect.

Unless they were dumb enough to give him total creative control which they might have because people in Hollywood are retarded.

Steven Paul was obsessed with making them, to the point he nearly ran his own company to the ground doing it. He produced both movies, and was actively having people make a TV series that apparently was so bad it got cancelled after screenings in Italy and Saudi Arabia of all places.

He then eventually got them cut and cobbled together and turned them into three more movies, all direct to DVD.

The difference between Paul and Cuckman is Paul also was willing to make other projects despite his insane obsession with the property, which includes Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider. He also took it being deemed shit on the chin, and just wanted to make them weirder as a "what the fuck" style experience.

Cuckman on the other hand is just seething and monofocused on proving them all wrong, to the point he legit doesn't care if the company absolutely folds. Like we're talking massive malfeasance to sate his pathetic ego.

They gave the two retards, also kikes, who ran Game of Thrones basically free reign to do anything that they wanted. Like tons of nudity and sex scenes instead of actual plot points from the books. Shortening the seasons and episodes so that they could rush to their (eventually canceled) Star Wars project. Pretty much every HBO show has collapsed upon itself since their first couple of actual successful shows.

Who knows? With Zaslav, another kike as well, they might film the entire third season of the show then shelf it for "tax" reasons.

HBO has been desperate for another hit that's as grand as Game of Thrones, even though that shit became so much bullshit midway through its run

probably two thirds of viewers maybe even more are only watching for Pedro Pascal.
Don't call me out like that (just kidding)

I'll be pissed if he changes the Joel in One for the show. It feels important and I'd rather them try to be at least a little faithful

I don't think the TV reaction to Joel getting gold clubbed is going to be anywhere near as bad as when the game came out. For one, it's been so long that I think the majority of TV audiences are at least vaguely aware that it's going to happen, and two, the show never had a Joel anywhere near as likable or charismatic as the original game version. The TV show was running with 'tired, pathetic old man Joel' the whole time with multiple new scenes dedicated to making him appear so.

Could be, but do you honestly think shovel face and whatever actors do jew nose and macho ma'am tranny savage can keep the public engaged? Last time I checked, Pedro Pascal was the only actor anybody gave a shit about in there.

I don't think Skyrim was ever re-released at full price either.
If you owned the original Skyrim on Steam you got the Special Edition for free. Same for the Legendary edition.

In contrast you bet your ass the TLOU2 remaster is going to be a full $70 and not a penny less.

There will probably be an extremely expensive $150-200 collector's edition too and I will extensively make fun of the inevitable reddit post bragging about buying it.

i think its a 10 dollar upgrade if you already owned the game on ps4 (which isnt great but its still better than having to buy the game all over again)

The upgrade is $10 if you already own it, but the wording makes it sound like it's only gonna be available to do in the launch period.

And good news for existing owners of The Last of Us Part II on PlayStation 4! You will be able to upgrade to a digital version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered for $10 USD(3) at launch.(4) You’ll also be able to import your saves from the original game to Part II Remastered.
