The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

I don't think Joel in one will happen. probably two thirds of viewers maybe even more are only watching for Pedro Pascal.
its going to be like everything else in the show, tweaked in a way that completely changes it. the idea of it just being him getting his ass kicked and it getting way out of hand screams the most likely option and/or they'll abandon most of the abby plot and just stretch ellie's story to fit the entire season.
Pretty much every HBO show has collapsed upon itself since their first couple of actual successful shows.
the story goes some exec in charge of greenlighting shit at HBO got a DUI and the footage was on par with Mel Gibson or some other worse crime happened so they shitcanned him and he moved over to showtime right after which is why their shows suddenly got so much love from the emmys and they had multiple hits on their hands for awhile. it makes sense especially because of how few "hits" HBO had the last decade especially in comparison with other networks and how quickly what shows did get renewed collapsed hard after their first season.

Shouldn't it be easy to schedule Pascal's scenes, since the Joel-In-One means that he won't be around for one episode at most? Unless they intentionally keep him in to add more flashback scenes.
thats 100% whats happening, basing the entire show on shovelface or the other chick won't happen just because of recognition. Pedro is still the huge name for people especially if they aren't in the gamer demographic so they have to keep him around somehow.

Filming for Season 2 of the TLOU HBO Show may get delayed to February, which may be due to Pedro Pascal also filming for Gladiator 2 and Fantastic Four. This is gonna be a clusterfuck of legendary proportions. And why another Fantastic Four (aside from obvious reasons like money and/or greed to revive shit from the dead or the fact that it's more capeshit bullshit)?

1) Gladiator 2....after 23 years....the absolute state of Hollywood these days;
2) I'm sick and tired of seeing Pedro Pascal being shoved into every other thing, although oddly enough, much of what he has been or will be shoved into will suck.

Also in case no one brought this up : https://www.ign.com/articles/the-last-of-us-part-2-ps4-black-friday-2023-deals

Gladiator 2....after 23 years....the absolute state of Hollywood these days;
24 years by the time it's released (2000 to 2024), and since then we had a lot of shit like W. Bush, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, threats of global warming, late-2000s recession, Obama, swine flu, Japanese tsunami, Norway shootins, Boston bombing, BLM riots, Gamergate, Paris shooting, Trump, Vegas shooting, MeToo, COVID-19, Biden, Capitol Hill, Stop Asian Hate, Ukraine, etc.

this is the first time im hearing of Gladiator 2. the trailer makes it look like its set during the end of the romen empire with the Hans and Germs. what a absolute sequel bait.

Some more news about Season 2 of the TLOU HBO Show:

So it looks like the Drunkmann jokes about re-uniting with Halley Gross turned out to be reality after all...

And it looks like the Joel-In-One will likely happen early on in Season 2, given that Pedro Pascal may get relegated to being a 3rd lead. Then again, there is the question about if Mazin, Drunkmann, Gross, and the like, will hold off on the Joel-In-One, knowing that ratings will tank once Pascal is out of the picture. But then again, people seemed to like the anime version of Attack on Titan's ending, even moreso compared to TLOU2's reception...

Have to ask, but did they go with deranged birdcuck or is it a completely different ending than the manga?

Most of the manga ending was kept the same in the anime ending, with a few small things such as the "Thank you for becoming a mass murder" line being changed.

Given Cuckman tried really hard to get Sony to squash the Joel-in-one leak and the leaks in general originally, assume that shit's on the table until proven otherwise by the season. He was a stupid asshole who hid Abby as hard as he could in the initial ads for the second game after all.

He's a dishonest and scummy pile of shit, who I would not be shocked if he kills him, and then feeds Pascal roles in flashbacks to trick people into sticking around via promos.

That's just a normal thing Hollywood does now: Lie about the premise of a show or movie and then pay people to shit on the critics when they find out they've been decieved. Like that new Scott Pilgrim show.

Soyny and Naughty Dog Poop posted a trailer about the Rogue-like in the TLOU2 "Re-master", called No Return:

And here are the characters available to play as in that game mode:

Joel and Tommy being locked characters, probably means that Drunkmann wants players to play through the main story of the game, before being able to play as them. As for why Mel is also a playable character, I have no idea either, unless Drunkmann really insists on having preggo girl be playable.

And the lack of Fat Gerald, Nora, Isaac, and Danny, means that they missed a big opportunity with Geralt, and presumably are really afraid of showing a black main character dying, as to why Nora and Isaac are not playable. And we still won't know who this "Danny" is, that was so important to the story. Owen is also not playable too, maybe because he's a white man, and is considered to be the least douchie out of all of Abby's crew?
