People deserve what they tolerate, I was never a fan of this episode, both because I hate gay/globohomo/ESG shit and because thats simply not how it went in the video games and its further proof this series wasnt made for fans of the game.

So if this spin off is green lit and, believe me, there is a good chance it will, if not simply to "own the chuds"
The games dont matter at this point. This is meant for an audience that dont know its a game and, if they do, they have nothing but contempt for its players and believe the story is being "properly" told now.

The moment I laid eyes on that episode, I knew it was over. The series had officially revealed its true colors as globohomo propaganda and nothing would change my mind on it. And yet everyone in my circle called me paranoid and homophobic for bringing it up.
I hate to say it (not really) but I was god damn right. Thats all it was.
Warms my dark pit of a heart to see that, despite all the sacrifices, the backstabbings, the borderline inhuman working conditions he inflicted on devs, Niel STILL isnt one of them and most likely will never be.

Apparently this was the actress who was widely considered the best to play Ellie prior to the show's final cast being confirmed. So making her Abbie instead is probably some form of stunt casting.

Something tells me they're going to try and rush through TLOU1's Left Behind DLC in the first few episodes since there is absolutely no way they'll be starting with the Joel-In-One.
