The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Nothing I hate more than nerds crying about spoilers. That Breakthrough guy, who seems to be a legit paid shill, saying anyone who posts spoilers will be banned.....

Spoilers don't make or break a fucking film/game/book IF the story is good. It's why knowing the spoiler for Empire Strikes Back doesn't take away from the experience, it's spoiler is part of pop culture now with multiple movies referencing it - somehow Star Wars continues to gain younger fans who weren't around when they were first released.

The concept of a "spoiler" is stupid. Always has been. "MUH EXPERIENCE!"

Childhood Trauma from harry potter incidents.

I'm not really sure about that. While it can't completely ruin a work, a spoiler can definitely impact the experience, especially if it is vague to make the person keep waiting for the spoiler to happen or make the person act differently than he would otherwise. For example FF7's shis-kebab was known to me beforehand so I knew not to get too attached for the character too much (though the even was still shocking for how early and fast it happens).

Sometimes spoilers do exist and can damage your first impression. Alien for example is the movie that you never should spoil for a person who's not seen it. That's because the best taste of horror and suspense you get from it is not knowing what it does, what it becomes, and who survives. When I was a kid, I legit thought that Dallas was going to be the main character and then got suckerpunched when he died. I did not expect Ripley to be the protagonist, since the film starts as an ensemble.

However, the fact he's that stringent and clearly able to get access means he is a shill. I will give him credit though in that Breakthrough isn't a bitch like Sony right now and is okay with comments and with his video getting ratio'ed.

I didn't know wanting Jeremy to be roasted counted as having high tism levels, but sure, your pet neckbeard is still safe. 🙄
You can't just fucking pull back and go "eeeww weeb games might give me autism" you clearly have a dog in the fight. It's already too late for you.

Like if you ever gave a shit about VN's getting the boot but then don't touch games because of anime, they call that cognitive dissonance.

I can't wait for the reviews to start coming out so I can laugh at shitty memes and dumpster fired instead of scrolling past exceptional slap fights between the same 2 or 3 spergs.
Funnily enough due to to this getting leaked it might not be memed because it will probably be old hat by then, unless something in game tops all the exceptional subversion by cuckmann

There's no scheduled public appearances by any of the devs or any upcoming live events. This also unfortunately hasn't even awoken CrowBCat from his slumber.

The "first impression" is built upon myths that being spoiled will ruin an experience. Like I said, we can already observe this just isn't the case. The Sixth Sense is still considered a brilliant film while the twist in the movie, like Empire Strikes Back, is now part of pop culture. I also take issue with the fact that there is some vague timeline for when a spoiler is forbidden to when it's ok because "enough time has passed", which doesn't make sense to me, since there will always be generations that....you know, weren't here when that "enough time has passed" to get a chance to experience it. I just think the general concept of "spoiler" is BS from top to bottom and something the industry has pushed to keep the audience tricked with their spliced up trailers.

Also, he's disabled comments on some of his recent videos.

That's the intresting thing about twists, good ones make a second reviewing enjoyable when you start to peice together what it all means and how it impacts the work. Hacks like Cuckmann however only use it for shitty shockvalue and bullshit. It's not there for enhancement of the story, just for a momentary second of "Wow, really cruel that this happened, this game is deep".

One of the better examples is Fight Club, if you didn’t see the twist coming, a second viewing makes you see all the little details which were building up to that point.
