The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Dogs / animals in general are essentially always innocent.... or at the very least are not capable of deceit or guile.

I'm...not too sure about that. I've seen videos of dogs disobeying their masters when they thought they weren't looking. There was also the story of this lion who was raised in a London flat and allegedly had a sense of humor. His owners claimed that he enjoyed pretending to be a taxidermied lion in the antique store located beneath the apartment and scaring the crap out of window shoppers by suddenly moving.

That way of disbehaving is like a kid being a little shit. It's cute and often in god nature. A child can be deceitful but their kind of deceit isn't as malicious as an adult's. It also helps that, on average, animals like dogs are cuter than adults and thus humans want to protect them more.

I've been watching some twitch streamers who only stream Uncharted/TLOU to get their views on the game. I'm not sure if it's blind fanboyism, stockholm syndrome, or both, but the majority of them love the game, even the story. I have to think that deep down some of them are just in complete denial. Blind fanboyism seems to be the only thing that explains defending a story with endless plot holes, character assassinations, continuity errors, etc.

P.S. Sorry if this has been posted already, but I love how Abby's dad magically changed from black to white in between the games.

Why do people keep calling him black in that TLoU1 pic? He's clearly white... unless I'm missing a joke?

I'm still not sure. Call it anthropormorphization, but I think we underestimate what animals are capable of. Prairie dogs have language. Some cats recognize themselves in mirrors. A spider may have used a rock as a counterweight while spinning a web. There was a giant stingray in the Mandalay Bay aquarium that got agitated when he was taken out of the petting pool because it enjoyed human contact. I wouldn't put more complex emotional behavior completely past them, especially when it comes to octopi and dolphins.

I have to catch up with this clusterfuck, it's absolutely hilarious.

Not only that, we get to play the cool stuff:

And take a look at the Steam workshop, so many mods, it's insane.
Oh they will comer for the PC Games eventually, you might think I'm dumb or crazy but look at ho many things they got into or tried to get into to infect with their crap (I'm not saying that they will succeed though but nothing is safe)

Unfortunately, on PC you have the wonderous world of mods.

If a game is bad for some reason, you can expect people to pirate the shit out of it and then mess it up in glorious ways until it becomes a meme fiesta. Which I fully expect TLOU2 to become once people get it onto PC.

You can expect the Druckman insert to suddenly having a lot of anal sex, for instance.

I'd imagine most social animals have a language, granted I don't know what pretentious standards of communication constitutes a language. I'd also imagine a lot of animals are freaked out by a mirrors reflective properties more so than not recognizing themselves, like tribals who've never seen a camera. Regardless there's a certain type pragmatism and vast commutation barrier when it comes to animal assholery as opposed to human assholery, which we understand fully.

I fully expect that to happen once sony stops supporting the PS4 OS since their security is probably as weak as nintendo for some of their consoles.

True but PC ultimately has the problem of having too much games, from unity asset flips to indie teams making smaller games, it's just way too much to keep up with for censorship

I was looking forward to this game for so long. But from everything I've read/seen, I guess I won't be buying it. After looking back at the first game and Left Behind, all the signs of this game being a dumpster fire were there.

I had a good laugh when I saw all the screen shots of Abby and finding out she wasn't a tranny.

More games the better I say. Nothing wrong with more choices. No one liked the Wii U because it hardly had games.

'Taking risks' doesn't get you a reward automatically. If you got into a casino and gamble fucktardedly, you're taking a risk and everyone is going to call you a degenerate fuck up for doing so when you lose and lucky when you win. TLOU 2 is the exact same retarded gamble. They lost. They don't deserve praise for gambling. Its also called, 'You reap what you sow'. They went for edgy 'I'm smarter than you' and lost, and now they have to eat it.

You don't get points for gambling your future by fucking up both main characters.
