We don't, but then again we (people of KF, 4 , 8 or 9ch) are nothing compared to them. They are tied to the industry, no matter what. One website closes? Who cares, these bloggers become writers for a studio, like Alanah something, she used to be a gamejourno, left for Funhaus/RT, became a Twitch camgirl and now she's a writer at Santa Monica Studio. Another one (don't remember his name) was a writer for PC Gamer, left to become a writer for EA Motive, he's responsible for the EAfront 2 and SW Squadrons campaigns. Another PC Gamer writer (Sam Maggs) left to join Bioware, she worked on ME:A then left to write a DLC for the Spider-Man game and now she's a writer for Marvel Comics.

Never forget that Last of Us 2 is a game with a message, Joel getting beaten to death is a message from Druckmann about how he feels about white male gamers, he'd love to brutally beat us all to death for the crime of daring to stand up for ourselves and not just roll over and accept irrelevance.

Now that message has been wholly condoned and applauded by the Game Awards.

That game Evil West reminds me a lot of Darkwatch, but unlike Darkwatch it's not going to have big titty women, making it in some way inferior.

Sexy women are simply nice to look at, a game can only be improved by the addition of sexy women, nobody's saying every single female character in games has to be sexy but to 100% strip sexy women out of western games and insist they all look like freaks is absurd.

In a better world diverse casts in games would throw in the one fanservicey female character just to show "hey, we're not hate filled evil people" because fair is fair and what's wrong with giving everyone options for a wide variety of tastes?

But no, they are hate filled and evil people and therefore it has to all be their way or the highway.

I'm a fan of the first game, 2 is a message aimed directly at guys like me, white male gamers who enjoyed the first game and empathized with Joel and that message is "you deserve to die"

So yeah, I'm mad, fuck Neal Druckmann and fuck The Last of Us 2.
