Now I fully admit to never watching even the first Matrix all the way through or ever particularly caring about the series but taking a pill that allows you to keep living a delusion instead of one that forces you to face harsh reality (that ywnbaw) sounds an awful lot like the blue pill regardless of the actual color of real life troonpills but I guess I'm not hopped up on enough estrogen to see reality.

Given that the original film is my all time favorite movie, this is kind of personal to me as well. I just want the franchise to have at least one good film to end things on, rather than the disappointment that was Revolutions.

This is where you fucked up royally. The Wachowski Brothers have exactly ONE good movie in their whole filmography, and that is the first Matrix. The first Matrix is pretty much a giant sci fi mish mash of 50 other good movies that came before it.
