Nope
I was in a very shitty troop and we didn't do dick except for dump camp, cook elaborate meals (the scoutmaster expected brigade de cuisine conditions in the forest) and merit badge universities
And also incidentally go to ham radio field days, but i don't remember actually leanring to operate radios
