The Mining Pit

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I'll leave my comp on when I go to work from now on. I should probably raise the insurance on my house just in case it burns down.

I spent some time a few years back immersing myself in bitcoin horror stories, so that's my frame of reference. With that said, would you expect for me to notice any significant change in my electrics bill if I did leave the site running for 8 hours a day?

No, not at all.

Can you screenshot your error, please?

it's in italian but what pretty much says it's the page got blocked and I should refresh, and if I want I can send a message complaint.
It's an error that happens only when I enter kiwi but I now noticed it blocks ALL tabs, included other sites like youtube and such.

What browser?

I run blockers, but have whitelisted coin-hive for this site, nothing else which might be BC related shows up on my filters.
I run Malwarebytes and had to add several exclusions for coin-hive.
ws001.coin-hive.com
ws002.coin-hive.com
ws003.coin-hive.com
ws004.coin-hive.com
ws005.coin-hive.com
ws006.coin-hive.com
ws007.coin-hive.com
There may be others, but I haven't gotten any more notifications from the program after this.

If people are gonna have an extra tab open for hashes that's great. This is a really cool plan.
If you're gonna open 30 different browsers on a home laptop while you're at work just mine bitcoin and sent it to Nool lol.

So, let me get this straight: this generator automatically gives a job to the visiting computer, which generates an income from the user. This income goes entirely to the higher function of the website, which itself is philosophically dedicated to the quality of experience to the users.
Users who are processing handicapped and unable to generate income, and those who simply choose not to generate income, still recieve the quality of browsing benefits of the working users' income.
The working users are okay with this, and simply want to benefit the site and community that they love.

Null, did you just accidentally make Kiwifarms a socialist utopia?
