The NBA Thread

Mark "Cuban" really sold the Mavs to the most horrifically accurate living stereotype of Jews that have ever lived who are now proceeding to completely alienate the entire DFW sports base. I hope Texas continues to vote down casino gambling because I dont want people like them draining away Texans' money on slot machines and donating it to Israel.

Only black people gamble, which is probably why they infiltrated Basketball first.

Not even a Spurs fan, but it's gonna make me so sad when Wemby inevitably gets hurt. There's just no way a guy his size can sustain this type of play.

Nfl is just as rigged as the nba, and im tired of pretending it's not.
They're literally the only major pro sports league in the world whose referees aren't even full-time referees. Many of these guys are lawyers and just men-about-towns and shit. I guess it makes sense to some degree, much shorter schedule vs. any other major sport, but it is interesting, and seems extremely exploitable.

So I went to the Cavs-Bulls game last night. Great game, despite fuckery from the officials. I was seated catty cornered on the lower level behind the Cavs bench and that was a unique experience. Maybe not the best if you want to see all the action on the court, but seeing the dudes come out from the tunnel was cool.

I will say that I was highly impressed by the Bulls. Josh Giddey really does not get talked about enough for how good of a player he is. Great defender, great game IQ, and has some elite shooting skill. The Bulls are clearly putting a lot on him, but Giddey has seemed to be able to handle the load. 33 minutes with a 15/6/9 stat line. While it doesn't look like much on paper, you really had to watch the game to see how crucial he is to Chicago. Shame that his ankles got sent to the shadow realm by De'Andre Hunter on that crossup.

Cade Cunningham scored 46 last night, on 45 attempts.

Volume shooting is back, bros

Dallas is currently gravedancing at the news of Nico Harrison finally being fired. Man traded Luka for an incredibly brittle AD, somehow lucked his way in the lottery into drafting Cooper Flagg, and was hellbent on creating a "superteam" that was injured to hell and back and were struggling even with Flagg. It only took the kikes from Vegas a few months before they realized how much Nico truly destroyed that team with trading Luka. Luka was a born leader and built a team culture in Dallas that I'm sure Flagg will have much trouble replicating.
Anyways, FUCK YOU NICO! AS A LIFELONG LAKERS FAN, THANKS FOR GETTING US LUKA!

Also, in other news, Michael Ray Richardson, infamous for being the first modern NBA player ever given the permaban for reasons not related to gambling (and one of the biggest wastes of talent in NBA history along with Derrick Coleman and Roy Tarpley IMO), just died today at 70 shortly after getting diagnosed with prostate cancer. What a shame in how his career turned out.

That's just mamba mentality bro. We're back.

Kobe was the most overrated player of all time. His cult of personality is annoying whenever talking about greatest players of all time because they swarm any discussion saying "what about Kobe" when he isn't anywhere near the top 10.

And he raped a girl in the sweltering summer of '04. I reference mamba mentality because C2 broke mamba's record for most missed field goals. Kobe was an inefficient chucker whose legacy was carried by an untimely helicopter crash. Ironic

Can we cut out giving every single player some abbreviated name unless they're a superstar that everyone in the world knows. Cade fucking Cunningham does not need an abbreviated name.
