Congratulations to the Detroit Pistons for officially breaking their 28 game losing streak with a win against the Toronto Raptors

Longest single season losing streak and joint longest losing streak ever. Now we see if they break the lowest winning percent (2011-12 Bobcats, 10.6%) or the lowest total wins in a full length season (1972-73 76ers, 9-73 record). A real race to the bottom over here. This current rate would break both, but who knows.

I emailed these videos to Monty Williams and told him to study them and then show them to the team. Since he can't figure out defense.

Why isn't there an investigation into Josh Giddey case by glowies rather than by yidsters at NBA?

Legal evidentiary standards and what will convince people to believe a certain way in a general context are different things, and sex crimes are notoriously difficult to charge due to usually having a dearth of witnesses and trouble getting people to cooperate. I haven't followed the Giddey situation, but back when Karl Malone raped and impregnated a 13 year old when he was 20 that family didn't press charges because they were desperately poor with a baby on the way and Malone was paying up a whole lot of cash, so it's also possible that he paid up.

...I say all that, and then do a quick google search and find that the police did get involved, and declined to charge. Archive here.

Anyways, 2024 All Star Starters dropped.

My hatred for LeBron and his fans is approaching the levels of hatred that I have for faggots and trannies.

Also, he would have gotten eaten alive had he played in the 80's and 90's. You know why ?

Because the entire league would run a train on Gloria James (since she's into fucking his team-mates) and then they'd talk shit to him every single possession.

Great game from the Cavs tonight, especially against a very formidable Sacramento Kings. 9-1 in their last 10 games with a 6 game win streak. Donovan Mitchell in particular has been balling the fuck out and our bench pieces have really performed well above expectations. I think we're starting to see a formidable Cavaliers team again, but I don't think they're going to be championship contenders for another few years. Excited to see how far they get this year.

So people buying into obvious media overhype? Though I do wonder if this is how people felt about Jordan in the 90s.

Hell no. Even the haters loved Jordan. They wore his shoes, doused themselves in his cologne, shaved their heads, bought his gear, and admitted he was the greatest and most entertaining player, no matter how much they had argued in favor of Olajuwon, Barkley, Malone, Ewing, Miller, or whomever else they preferred.

The few people that truly hated him and seethed at his success were relentlessly shit on until they realized to appreciate greatness.

The regular season games are horrendous time waste. I'm excited for play-offs but it's pretty clear Denver will repeat, Boston will lose to them in the Finals. At least one probably both of Oklahoma and Minnesota will be eliminated in the first round.

I wouldn't be too quick to bet on Denver running it back. They're in a very competitive 4 way tie in the West that looks like it'll take until the end of the season to sort out. Even if Minnesota and OKC lose in the first round, if they can keep hammering on Denver and LAC, they'll put the screws to whoever reaches semi-finals. I agree that the most likely Finals will be Boston-Denver, but I'd put my money on Boston for that one. They've just gelled together so well and they're going into the ASG break in a strong position to dominate the last 20 or so games.

This was a shit show. Sabrina scored 26 points in her round, which is the same amount that four of the men in the actual 3-point contest scored in the first round of that competition, so naturally the discussion became about how Sabrina is actually better than most of the guys in the NBA, despite shooting a smaller ball from a closer distance.

Bless the man Kenny Smith, who wasn't having any of that shit and said as much during the broadcast. The fags of NBA Twitter are currently circling the wagons and preparing the pitchforks.

Steph won anyways

I‘ll try to update the thread with more video highlights regarding All-Star Weekend activities, but I can report who won the festivties:

  • Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks won the 3 Point Contest for the second time in a row
  • Mac McClung, G-League player for the Osceola Magic, won the Slam Dunk Contest for the second straight time
  • Team Pacers (Haliburton, Mathurin and Turner) won the Skills Challenge

There should have been a surprise second round to see which player could best take a charge from Jusef Nurkic or Brook Lopez.

To the surprise of nobody, the ASG was a offensive shootout. The high point, though, was definitely Barkley calling the city of San Francisco a hellhole while his anxious co-commentators tried in vain to change the subject.

It's incredible to me that they haven't manufactured a reason to get rid of Chuck by now. Guy gives no fucks.
