Any highlights? Or LOLlights?
It might be kinda worth watching if you like RB screens as much as I do since Raiders were abusing the hell out of them and Jags' fourth-stringer D didn't know how to respond.

Raiders' Stidham looked fairly competent out there and could have a future as a dual-threat backup QB.

Moments:

Jags' Luton looking like a Freddie Mercury impersonator and playing QB about as well as one. He's bad even for a fourth-string QB. Dude also looks like he's throwing out gang signs whenever he's winding up for a throw.

Jags with the 88-yard punt return for a TD! Awesome! It didn't count because refs called a holding penalty. Oops.

Jags going hard all-in on 4th down because they were ready to ball out and bring the game back in the 4th quarter and then muffing the snap for a turnover on downs.

Does anyone even watch these preseason games?

Hey cool you get to see players grace the football field for the first and last time
I will probably watch the Seahawks games, just to see how some of our rookies look and to get an idea which terrible QB is going to win the pre-season competition.

I wasn't kidding about Luton and his gang signs. Dude seriously looks like someone's first football video game they made in Unity and they gave up trying to figure out how to animate passing animations.

Dan Campbell and the Lions remind me of my high school coach in the best way. I really hope they can buck the trend there.
Honestly it looks like that whole team is having a ton of fun.

Team cohesion is important, and hell I'll be rooting for them this year even if they go all the way.

We got roughly two hours left for whatever's going on with Watson. Otherwise he starts the preseason game tonight.
Does he though? I thought he had accepted the 6 game ban and the appeal was to make it longer. My understanding was that the league and whoever is deciding this has until week 6 to decide how this shakes out

If they slap him with a season suspension he can't play tonight. That's basically the only thing at stake here.

I thought he wasn't playing one way or the other. Idk, it doesn't matter. Preseason super bowl is already going to the Ravens
Nah they're starting him.
Worth noting the Steelers played Ben for all of the preseason games before he served his suspension for the bathroom incident.

Well the precedence has been set. Can't wait to hear about that all night
I strongly suspect that, aside from the most token of mentions at the very beginning of the game, the commentators will go out of their way to avoid discussing Deshawn's extracurriculars. I'm still surprised the NFL didn't announce Goodell's intended punishment in time to keep him from seeing the field.

Yeah, they got about 20 minutes before he takes a snap. Looks like they're not gonna do shit.

e: Jags deploying T-Law and Etienne I have no idea what's going on, they're not taking prisoners. This is a preseason game calm down.

I figured they were deffo going to put him on indefinite suspension prior to this game. Letting things marinate over the weekend makes me think they might actually limit it to like 14 games.

Yeah I'm pretty confused with what the NFL is doing here.

Watson's been sucking hard tonight, so...I dunno maybe they wanted him to play a couple snaps.
