Lots of questionable calls but that late hit gets called every time. At least lose the game on a questionable call from the refs instead of such an obvious one

I've actually been thinking that games have been rigged since the beginning of the season. This is the culmination of just that.

Sports betting ruins the sports. Remember that.

So... I don't think accusations of the NFL being rigged can be dismissed out of hand any more. What say you?
They definitely play favorites. Especially when the home cookin' is that egregious.

And now some faggots are setting off fireworks, which scare the shit out of my dog.

The amount of race bait articles related to the quarterbacks, Hurts and Mahomes, facing off is going to be insane. :story:

The advertisers and other poweful interests want Mahomes to win for various reasons....It was and enough with Ton Brady and Patriots, who of course also cheated and were only ever given a slap on the wrist. Why I care about this sportsball horseshit is beyond me....

Edit--NFL Congrats is trending. And you have tweets like this. Hurts is a blackie, Mahomes a mongrel (and they never stop showing that blonde mother of his with black father. Screenshot_20230129-222757_Chrome.jpg Screenshot_20230129-222650_Chrome.jpg

I don't think they can fully rig it, like one team is already set to win beforehand. Too many people would have to be in on it, including the teams themselves, like wrasslin'. But the refs can, and I think do, try to "help" one team or the other sometimes. This game was one in which I feel that happened. That bullshit clock fuckery and letting the Chiefs try again is case in point. You can hear the whistle on every other call but suddenly on that one no one fucking heard it?

Also, calls like intentional grounding, roughing the passer/kicker, etc are usually called the most when it's convenient for the team that the refs are helping. It's an easy way for the refs to seriously help a team.

Honestly I hate this whole race angle a lot of you guys are putting to this. Mahomes was hurt pretty badly last week, and Kelce was having back spasms leading up to the game, where as the Bengals were in the Super Bowl last year. Most people were probably betting on the Bengals to win this game and some might say resoundingly so, and that's the thing about rigging, you want the one who isn't supposed to win win.

That was just ludicrous. I've never seen such tomfuckery in sports. You could even hear a fan yell "FUCK YOU REFS!" in the background.

I also noticed they penalized the teams differently on Holding calls (which are already arbirtary bullshit IMO). They'd give Cincy 10 yard penalties and 5 yards for KC.

Holding has specific yards - offensive holding is 10, defensive is 5 plus automatic first down. That wasn’t bullshit. The clock thing… that was bullshit.
