Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, and that fat fucking coach represent all the filth of modernity and excess.

Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey represent Yakub's finest creations, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk represent the Asiatic race's fiercest xarriors, and Kyle Shanahan is the IRA's fiercest general.

It should be clear who deserves the Lombardi.
But if that's true, then neither team is representing the places they champion. The former for based Kansas/Missouri, the latter for San Franshithole.

I'm not the biggest 49ers fan, but I'm already done with the Chiefs. We just saw 20 years of a fucking Pats dynasty, I don't want to see another one. That, and the idea of Sam Darnold having a ring will be meme-worthy.

Also, Chiefs DL Charles Omenihu tore his ACL. Big blow to their great defense.

thats why they'll lose. Kelce will goon it up all game and when a nignog on the 9ers finally snaps and retaliates, they'll get the penalty.
They wont talk about Purdy or CMC much, the camera will always be trained on Mahomes, Kelce, Reid, or taytay even if the 9ers are driving. Giving a "Chiefs are inevitable" vibe, predictive programming to get people to disregard the inevitable flagsflagsflags and 50/50 chance of a 9ers touchdown called back.
At the end, millions of white women across the country will subconsciously feel good about the black bucks cucking the great white hopes of Purdy/CMC because Kelce will propose to taytay with the lombardi trophy in his hands. Ben Shapiro will rocket to the top of the conservative charts with a rap song about how the based and redpilled nignogs on KC beat those white faggots on the Niners.

:optimistic:

I myself am probably being overly hopeful, but I don't think this Chiefs team is as good as last year's or even 2019's Chiefs. Whereas I definitely think this 49er's team is better than the last one that went to the Superbowl. Our defense improved in the second half against the Lions, we adjusted our game, CMC was great, Purdy showed he can come back and play well even after a first half like that. And while they haven't been consistent since the Ravens game, when the 49er's were playing at their best in the regular season they looked better than the Chiefs ever did in the regular season. They just need to get back to that winning mode.

This Chiefs team was not good at all in the regular season. Hell, they never really even showed up in the wild card or divisional round either. But what I saw Sunday was the same Chiefs team that won last year. One hell of a time to turn that switch on and seem like it never happened. But I agree with you, this is probably the weakest Chiefs team we've seen in, what, 10 years? They've been pretty consistent with Andy Reid at the helm and have stayed competitive despite setbacks. Going from 14-3 in 2022 to 11-6 in 2023 for them is a steep drop. A good record, but certainly not something to hang your hat on.

I think this 49ers team is going to be much more of a problem than they were 4 years ago. CMC is a genuine threat in the run game and receiving. Chiefs DBs haven't been the strong spot of their defense, but they've helped to keep the team either in the top 10 or just outside the top 10 in defensive stat categories. I'll be interested to see how they utilize Sneed against CMC or Deebo. Both are genuine deep threats and can be deceiving on jet sweeps.

I'm gonna laugh when Shanahan reverts to form and shits the bed in the second half, even if it means fucking Mahomes gets another ring.

Man, the media is going crazy with all of these manufactured stats comparing Mahomes to Brady.

Calm the fuck down already, I get it. You want the half-shitstain to take the legendary White QB's mantle.

It's all so tiresome. I'll be rooting for the Niners mostly because this 24/7 Chiefs ball gargling just won't stop.

I'm thinking that the Niners Defensive Linemen will truly have to come through with a heroic effort. The Bengals showed a few years ago that you could really fuck with the Chiefs' offense by rushing 3 or 4 linemen and dropping everyone back in coverage. Have a spy on either Pacheco or Mahomes scrambling.

With the amount of Ref Ball that one can suspect helping the Chiefs, you almost get the feeling that the Chiefs will have to do some self sabotaging. I'm thinking a key fumble here or some other freak play will be needed for the Niners to pull through. In an evenly matched contest, the Refs will decide the game and we all know what that means.

The Chiefs are going to fight tooth and nail against the 49ers in order for them to walk home winning this year's Super Bowl 58. Otherwise, my money is still on the 49ers

Also the Mahomes Brady talk was destroyed last week when they showed he had 16 playoff wins to Bradys 35

He's also 28 years old and has his entire career ahead of him still. With how much modern medicine has allowed athletes to extend their careers, I wouldn't be surprised if Mahomes plays until he's 44 or 45. He could easily win another 5 or 6 rings in that time frame, which means he would also beat Brady's 35 playoff win record. So I don't think drawing comparisons is that far fetched. A little early? I think so, but only because he hasn't won anywhere near as many rings as Brady or had as many SB appearances. But he'll get there in due time.

As much as I despise Mahomes, I can't deny the guy has a God given talent. If he would just quit being a little bitch every time he gets hit (and stop putting himself in unsafe situations, ala the helmet hit he took against the Dolphins), I'd probably have more respect for him.

This is why Mahomes won't be able to best Brady. At some point, his body will fail. I know you touch on advances in medicine at the start, I'm just looking at the percentages. On a long enough timeline, the survival rate drops to zero.

The Steelers have hired a new OC. They hired Arthur Smith. This might actually be a downgrade from Matt Canada.

Watch Tomlin somehow still bullshits a winning season despite this handicap.

F's in chat for Tree and any other Steelers fans in the thread.

I may not be smart, talented, trainable or even know who all is in each team but I think the 49ers have a decent shot unless Purdy’s o-line collapses.

I got bad news for you about that O-line, it's Trent Williams and a bunch of JAGS.
If Williams so much as tweaks a hamstring Purdy will be running for his life all game.

Smith's not a bad OC and maybe having someone above him to tell him to shove it when he wants to stick it to fantasy football players will make him less retarded in his scheming.
But Schlasser's going to do what Yinzers always do when it comes to catastrophizing over a mid at worst hire.

10 years ago: Smith was traded by the 49ers after his season ending injury, Kelce was a rookie, and the defense had 7 undrafted free agents, and they blew a 28 point lead over the Colts in the wildcard game. Things are nowhere near that bad.

I still think the 9ers can take it, but they really didn't look great in the post-season games that they should have handily won. Hopefully they actually try in the Super Bowl.

A lot of the Mahomes hate feels like more a response to the media crowning them the new Pats and refs giving them more than generous calls than anything Mahomes does. He's fun to watch, just not in the Super Bowl every other year. Dynasties are boring in any sport.

You forgot to mention Mahomes dick riders also contribute alot to the hate he gets. They really are obnoxious.

I think this is Tomlin's version of a Super Bowl. He's just making his team and coaching staff as shit as possible and still get a winning season. I don't know how many coaches can pull that off

People forget that Brady was the king of being a beneficiary of refball. You couldn’t even breathe on that motherfucker without it being roughing the passer, a heavy fine, and potential jail time. Brady might as well have played with a skirt out there. Mahomes literally took the Dolphins’ best shot with the cracked helmet, the Ravens’ best shot to the head on Sunday and still whooped their ass despite Matt Nagy being his OC.
