No doubt. I think teams are starting to realize that WR are like RBs. If they aren't a top 3 in the league, they aren't worth the headache and paying them all that money. At this point, a decent to good WR can just be run into the ground for their rookie contract, and then you could franchise tag them for a year, if they still have a lot left in the tank, and then release them or trade them

Top receivers, and corners for that matter, do seem to be coming out of college NFL ready at higher rates. While Henry and Barkley are certainly special talents, they've shown just how much you can run in the modern NFL. Other guys have flashed as well like Jacobs, Taylor, and Bijan. You have to wonder what they'd do on better teams.
And the O Line and D line are how you win football games. An average running back can look amazing behind a good O Line and a decent QB can look unreal if given enough time. I think teams are starting to realize that WRs can develop a route if given enough time
Brad Holmes and the Detroit lions knew this. Thats why they started building in the trenches first with Sewell, then took ARSB in the 4th and it worked out perfectly. It probably helped that they had a head start already having Decker and Ragnow but regardless, they were able to make Jared Goff look like an MVP candidate. All without having your stereotypical No.1 6'3" 210 X wide receiver.
I LOVED Big Play Slay when he was in Detroit. When he was traded thats when I officially knew the Lions were fucked under Patricia regime, I always hated how they traded him away for pennies, but Im glad he was able to get a ring. Id be over the moon if the Lions brought him back on a one year deal to mentor the young CBs the lions have and provide depth. Maybe thats too much to hope for but one can dream.

There is no off season anymore. It goes Super Bowl -> Combine -> Free Agency -> Draft -> OTAs -> break -> Training Camp -> Pres Season - > Opening Kickoff. The NFL wants it to be a year round league. It's why they've turned the draft and combine into spectacles. The independent ecosystems of online content creators need to be one too, so everything is getting covered like never before.
