Oh forgot to point this out, but for anyone who was old enough to remember the mid 2000s and the Favre situation, you can compare that to Rodgers and realize that Rodgers isn't bad at all

If Jameis was good enough to make it to the postseason he may have been able to break Favre's record for the most INTs in a postseason game. And while Favre did make the games exciting, he also did his level best to keep both teams in the game.
I hope that someone sticks around long enough to threaten Brett Favre's interception record so he comes out of retirement to claim the interception record backIf Jameis was good enough to make it to the postseason he may have been able to break Favre's record for the most INTs in a postseason game.
We could only wish.
The Broncos weren't an amazing job. I think the Panthers were probably the best job on the market with all the open head coaching jobs. But honestly, waiting is probably the best option for Payton right now. I think next year team's won't have to compensate the Saints to hire him so there won't be as huge a hit. Plus there might be a better job lined up for him. Chargers, Falcons, and Browns seem like they are on the hot seat coming into next year and are good jobs. Others that can be a hit or miss are ones like the Cowboys, the Raiders, the Bucs, Washington, the Rams, and potentially Indy. With the panthers off the board, I would probably just sit in the Fox studios and play golf until next yearThe Sean Payton sweepstakes is taking some interesting twists and turns. The Panthers walked away from the sweepstakes and hired Frank Reich instead. Meanwhile, there was a breakdown between Payton and the Broncos during discussions. For those who haven't been following the drama, the Broncos have been considered by everyone up to this point as being the front runners to get Payton. While Payton liked the idea of coaching Russell Wilson, apparently he appeared that he would get into some sort of leadership struggle with a member of the Broncos leadership team regarding how he lead the team. Meanwhile, Payton has been seen hanging out with the owner of the Cardinals at the team practice facility. Now, people are questioning whether any team will pick up Payton this year.
He's contracted through 2024, so any team will still need to compensate the Saints, but the Saints won't have a as much leverage since he will only have a year left on his contract, so they would have to ask for less. The problem for Payton is that the longer he remains out of coaching, the less enticing he is to any team, the same way that Deshawn Watson looked less enticing by virtue of missing so much time out of playing football.I think next year team's won't have to compensate the Saints to hire him so there won't be as huge a hit.
I think either would have been a fine landing spot. Both teams have a good D currently and that seems to have been Payton's weakness during his tenure with the Saints. Broncos are unfortunately stuck with Russ for a while though. The Broncos weren't an amazing job. I think the Panthers were probably the best job on the market with all the open head coaching jobs.
My friend, have you ever heard of this thing called 'radio'?I can't hardly even play Madden for all the END RACISM it shoves in my face. How do you even with watching TV?
Its almost like you can watch NFL games on illegal streams so as not to give the NFL advertising moneyI love how this thread routinely gets tourists who just come in here to bitch about the NFL's virtue signaling and then immediately dip out.
Y'all would have been insufferable during the heyday of the pink cleats/gloves.
Kyle Shanahan curse is real, also fuck RefballBrock has an injured wrist and the Niners are sending in their backup QB. They are fucked.
Refs should have taken the hint when the Chiefs got 8 free downs and couldn't convert. The Bengals got thoroughly sodomized with some weird clock stoppage. Let’s hope they can pull this off since the refs are not Bengals fans apparently.
