I REALLY want the Lions to be good and finally break the curse of mediocrity and then they do this shit. I would have rather seen them trade those picks for veterans than do this.

Also fingers crossed Zay Flowers isn't a bust and we don't look stupid for signing Lamar to such a large contract.

Some teams are just meant to be cursed like the Lions. They'll probably just miss out on the playoffs again

Perhaps it's the never-ending mediocrity instead of outright badness but I'm always amused how the Cardinals manage to escape these lists.
They've literally done fuck all since the 1920's, back when every player had a second job. I'm pretty sure they're in the top 3 oldest teams in the league. The Bidwells are just Halas' also-rans.

The fucking Titans man I swear. They had the easiest division in football for a while and that probably hid how terrible their front office is. They have Tannehill on a contract, have a qb coming into his second year, and now traded up to draft another qb. Yet they are trying to trade Henry and traded away AJ Brown last year. Just keep throwing darts at the wall and see what happens I guess

I mean Willis obviously ain't it and they didn't trade the farm for Levis in the first round, I think it's a pretty decent pick. Will Levis is basically 2013-era Tannehill as it stands.

Might have been scared of the Rams taking him at #36.

Goff is a UFA after 2025 so maybe even the Lions would've considered taking him at #34 (bear in mind they then went and grabbed Hooker early in the third round which helps me believe they might've gone and got Levis if they could at #34.)

Less likely, but maybe even worried about the Raiders at #35 since I could see Vegas looking into insurance for Garoppolo and a potential heir to his spot.

The pay structure for rookies is different after the first round isn't it?

Yep. No 5th year option for Levis. 4 year deal at a lower wage scale.
 
Saints did about what I expected initially: focus on the defensive line. It needed help after the losses over the spring, and I think they got solid talent. Taking RB isn't a surprise either, what with Kamara's legal issues, likely if not entirely certain suspension, and falling productivity. I was surprised to see the Saints trade up twice, and specifically to draft a QB (who isn't named Duggar or Hooker), but nothing wrong with picking up a cheap backup considering that Winston's contract only last a year. The late safety and WR are both solid picks.

Overall, a solid draft for the team. Nothing crazy, but a focus on adding needed depth.
