Good thing the packers took another DE. The defense is really gonna have to step up with the scoring this year

Talk about a cursed franchise. Can’t believe how bad the Lions fucked up their draft. They had Gonzalez fall in their lap at #8, only to trade down and end up spending top 20 draft picks on an RB and ILB, the least valuable positions in football. Immediately after signing David Montgomery and extending Alex Anzalone, too.
Some teams are just meant to be cursed like the Lions. They'll probably just miss out on the playoffs againI REALLY want the Lions to be good and finally break the curse of mediocrity and then they do this shit. I would have rather seen them trade those picks for veterans than do this.
Also fingers crossed Zay Flowers isn't a bust and we don't look stupid for signing Lamar to such a large contract.
Whenever someone mentions cursed franchises the first team that always pops in my head is the Jets. Some teams are just meant to be cursed like the Lions. They'll probably just miss out on the playoffs again
Perhaps it's the never-ending mediocrity instead of outright badness but I'm always amused how the Cardinals manage to escape these lists.Whenever someone mentions cursed franchises the first team that always pops in my head is the Jets.
The fucking Titans man I swear. They had the easiest division in football for a while and that probably hid how terrible their front office is. They have Tannehill on a contract, have a qb coming into his second year, and now traded up to draft another qb. Yet they are trying to trade Henry and traded away AJ Brown last year. Just keep throwing darts at the wall and see what happens I guessSome of the notable names who didn't go last night are off the board on day two:
32. Joey Porter Jr., CB (Steelers)
33. Will Levis, QB (Titans)
35. Michael Mayer, TE (Raiders)
42. Luke Musgrave, TE (Packers)
45. Brian Branch, CB (Lions)
68. Hendon Hooker, QB (Lions)
I mean Willis obviously ain't it and they didn't trade the farm for Levis in the first round, I think it's a pretty decent pick. Will Levis is basically 2013-era Tannehill as it stands. The fucking Titans man I swear. They had the easiest division in football for a while and that probably hid how terrible their front office is. Who would have picked him though? Did they need to move up for him?I mean Willis obviously ain't it and they didn't trade the farm for Levis in the first round, I think it's a pretty decent pick. Will Levis is basically 2013-era Tannehill as it stands.
Might have been scared of the Rams taking him at #36.Who would have picked him though? Did they need to move up for him?
the Sad Old Opry HouseIf Cleveland is the Factory of Sadness and Indy the Clue Factory, what would you call Tennessee?
All I want is for the Ravens to sign AB for real. Also fingers crossed Zay Flowers isn't a bust and we don't look stupid for signing Lamar to such a large contract.
The pay structure for rookies is different after the first round isn't it?Might have been scared of the Rams taking him at #36.
Goff is a UFA after 2025 so maybe even the Lions would've considered taking him at #34 (bear in mind they then went and grabbed Hooker early in the third round which helps me believe they might've gone and got Levis if they could at #34.)
Less likely, but maybe even worried about the Raiders at #35 since I could see Vegas looking into insurance for Garoppolo and a potential heir to his spot.
I'm pretty sure he's blacklisted at this point. No one is willing to touch that uranium rod.All I want is for the Ravens to sign AB for real.
That would be a very entertaining season with noted non-diva OBJ.
Yep. No 5th year option for Levis. 4 year deal at a lower wage scale. The pay structure for rookies is different after the first round isn't it?
Don't ruin the potential fun of having the Ravens playing a 3rd string QB who is just a RB with 2 diva WRs while pushing for a playoff spotI'm pretty sure he's blacklisted at this point. No one is willing to touch that uranium rod.
Didn't know about the 5th year but was pretty sure about the wage. Teams are going to wait if they can so as to not pay first round money to someone they're not sure about. Especially after the Zack Wilson debacle.Yep. No 5th year option for Levis. 4 year deal at a lower wage scale.
