Having an amazing O-line doesn't make your quarterback good. But having a shit O-line will make sure your quarterback won't be good
People have quickly forgotten that Mahomes was harassed in the Super Bowl against the Bucs and couldn't do anything. The Chiefs made sure that would never happen again and now Mahomes plays behind one of the best o-lines in the league. They were the real MVP against the Eagles in the past Superbowl.
The fact that half of the league has problems at O-line because they are easily the most freak, hard to find athletes in the sport is my argument against further league expansion.
Guys who spent all of high school and college pancaking the shit out of edge rushers will look positively middling against an NFL defensive line with even average coaching.
But you seem to be missing an important fact, expansion will make the NFL more money. That seems to be the only factor in any decision the NFL makes.

According to a former player, they're forced to either play hurt or sit the bench for long periods of time and get treated like shit by the Coaches for it. It's not just that the actual training is bad, it's that the staff doesn't care. The Ravens are absolutely plagued with injuries for a reason. Even by NFL standards, that team is pushed to the limit.

While not the generational defense it used to be, the Ravens D is not that bad lately. On offense, they have a not-quite-washed OBJ, Lamar, who is probably the only reason Justin Fields ever got a job in the league and is arguably the benchmark by which every 'athletic' quarterback should be judged (his accuracy leaves something to be desired), one of the most promising looking young WR's in the league, IMO the second best pass-catching tight end in the league, a fantastic RB corps, a solid if not special O-Line, a decent backup QB, good receivers and arguably the greatest kicker of the modern era.

They are down to their second and third strings on some positions.

This is NOT a problem that can be fixed by Lamar, or by ejecting him because he's a 'hood rat'. They pay him made man money for a reason- he wins games.
Lamar Jackson is basically pre-prison Michael Vick.

Hopefully he'll win a Super Bowl before his legs die, as what happens to all "Athletic" QBs who can't throw (comparatively, he's no Josh Allen or Justin Herbert arm wise, but its good enough, better than his closest peer, Justin Fields).

With how injury plagued the Ravens are that may be sooner rather than later.

The brotherly shove is also possible because of the front line of the Eagles. Jalen Hurts basically just follows them as they give 2-3 yards

Its not so much the NFL, but the NFL owners (who ultimately make all the decisions) who will decide on expansion. There are a few owners who have levered up their net worth to their own teams. So if they can increase the value of their franchise, they will do it

The eagles o-line is so good, it could make almost any QB look great behind them. They did got Jalen Hurts a huge contract after all.

Yeah, but some owners are more jewish than others. Jerry Jones seems to control Goodell and can get the majority of the owners to do whatever he wants. You get some dissenters like John Mara and Mike Brown but they always get out voted.

Jerry Jones and Mark Davis are the face of "All my money is tied up from my NFL team"

I know the trend with guys like the Bosa Brothers and Micah Parsons (even though he usually posts up at Linebacker) is that Edge Rushers are starting to get slimmer and more dynamic as opposed to the hulking big men that they used to stack on the line- do you think we might see a similar evolution at Tackle or other O-Line positions where sheer bulk becomes secondary to hand speed and foot coordination?
Guards. You're talking about offensive guards.

It wouldn't be so effective if defensive lineman would stop trying stupid shit like lining up sideways and thinking anything except getting bulled over is a possibility.

I don't understand why teams in the NFC, let alone the NFC East, haven't hired some Rugby coach to teach them how to stop it. Just proving how dysfunctional these teams are

The league's just gonna ban it next season because Roger does not believe in entertaining the fans. Only reason it isn't banned right now is because Jason Kelce is extremely popular atm due to Travis' ongoing stuff.

This sounds entirely stupid reasoning for everything... which means its like 90%+ true. God, I can't think of any other business that is run this incompetently and is this successful

The perpetual question I have to ask is why does the NFL hate fun?

Or just fucking leaping on the pile. What are you even trying to do there.

Anyway Mac Jones has been officially benched. Our long national nightmare is over.

That's why we'll never see an expansion while he's alive. Jerruh would kill Goodell for trying to put another team in TX.
I know that's why San Antonio is never brought up as a potential city for expansion, Jerry would kill to avoid having Texas split up by 3 teams. I wonder what his thoughts were on football coming back to Houston back around 2000. I don't think he ever expressed anything publicly, although I can't imagine he was happy.

Ryan Shazier's wife just claimed that he was cheating on her when she was looking after him while he rehabbed from a broken neck. She posted a bunch of the messages between him and his mistress, as well as some Karma Sutra type shit he bought for her. Whooof.
