Nothing funnier than watching the Cowboys lose to an actual good team. They got the Dolphins next week in Miami then host the Lions before going to the Redskins. They could legit win 1 game over the next 3 weeks and I would fucking love that. Limp into the playoffs and lose to the Bucs or Falcons first round. No idea if the Eagles win tomorrow in Seattle but they play the Cardinals and Giants twice to finish off the season so they should get at least 3 wins in there.

Robert Saleh should be damned grateful for Rodgers' weak tendons, because without one snapping he would be fucking gone, not just sitting on a boiling seat. Even the Jets defense sucked that game, and you can't blame that on the QB.
If he doesn't take off next year with a rehabbed Rodgers I fully expect Woody Johnson to just blow the whole thing up.
This defense has not been the juggernaut the sports media has made it out to be. It's be a slow degrade through the season. They're 11th in the league in points against.
And after today, the Panthers have more points for. Only team with less is the Patriots. lol
Well...................it is December.

I honestly think they're quiet quitting. It's not as egregious as the Chargers the last few weeks or Denver before Paton cleared house after the Dolphins game, but that roster is better than they've been performing lately.
I dunno how much of that is on nobody wanting to try with Wilson taking snaps and how much of it blows back to the coaching staff but if there are even similar problems next fall the current Jets regime is in trouble.

If Rogers comes back, you will see how much the team is ready to quit on the coaching staff. But if Rogers doesn't come back, then this team quits on him immediately and they fire him mid season. Jets aren't technically eliminated from the playoffs, but they are done with playoff contention. The key to see if the team has quit on the coaching staff would be from the players who will be on a team next year. Those who could be unemployed will still be playing hard, even if its for a contract on a different team.

That thought did cross my mind. I'm just baffled how the NY sports media talks them up so hard.
The New York sports media talks up the hometown team and ignores better teams? I am shocked

The Jaguars are not playing like a team that wants to win anymore. That division should've been theirs for the taking.
Idk if its something with them and the AFC North or if the division sucks against them. Texans lost to the Ravens but beat the Bengals and Steelers and play the Browns next week. Colts beat the Steelers and Ravens but lost to the Bengals and Browns. Jaguars beat the Steelers but lost to the Browns, Bengals, and now the Ravens. Outside of the Steelers, who are bottom of their division, the AFC North just seems to have the AFC South's number. Just sucks for Jacksonville that they got the 3 best teams all in a row from the AFC North. Jags got the Bucs, Panthers, and Titans for their final games so that should be at least 2 wins. Colts have the Falcons, Raiders, and Texans so that's at least 2 wins. Texans have Browns, Titans, and Colts so thats also at least 2 wins. I think it should be fun to see if the Texans vs Colts game week 18 could decide a conference tie but I am not holding my breath. If the Jags go on a 3 game sweep, it might be over

Whenever I am forced to hear Lamar Jackson do an interview, I can't help but think he only has a single concussion to spare until his IQ drops below 50.
Lamar really strikes me as one of those players that's going to be flat broke like three years after retirement.

He might be legitimately retarded. Scammers are going to be lining up trying to get at his bank account.

Holy shit. Refs really fucked Denver out of that touchdown. Two short calls that should have been challenged and then an offensive offsides from the center's helmet? Fucking what?
As a Detroit watching the game with my boys, I was freaking out with you guys. My friends asked why I was so mad at calls that benefitted our team.
What happens when it occurs to us??? it's infuriating.

It will be sad and predictable to see that happen.
