but the outrage propelled it into continuous national spotlight. Conservatives fall for this shit every time
They love doing it, why do you think there are so many accounts on X posting fake news meant to infuriate republicans, it is way worse than even A&N

I hope none of my sports threads ever get featured again. Give me a hat and puzzle all you want, but god damn 16 pages to catch up on with a bunch of retards making the same jokes over and over again instead of actually talking about the game is just annoying.

Anyways, gonna be fun to spend the off season questioning all the no win decisions Shanahan had towards the end of the game with overtime rules while figuring out what the Chiefs have to do to three peat.

For the new fags who actually give a shit, this thread should be pretty quiet for a month and a half until the NFL draft season kicks off. That's when the fun begins again. Until then, its just talking about every decision about the super bowl and it doesn't involve taylor swift, pfizer, joe biden, or any other gay shit

I guess my own cope is at least Chris Jones is more than likely gone via free agency. Not many can overcome losing an All-Pro NT.
Mahomes wants him on the team. He and Veech will play money games to keep Jones a Chief. Mahomes already did it once. Technically Jones is a IDL, but he switches between tackle and edge a lot. Derrick Nnadi is the starting NT, but Mike Pennel did a hell of job against the Ravens and the 9ers.

Best Chiefs Nose Tackle of all time was Dontari Poe. We really fucked keeping Eric Berry over him, but who the fuck gets Hodgkins at 24?
Not many defensive lineman with a receiving TD, a rushing TD, and a passing TD. Also, not every day you see a 340lb black man do a Tebow impression.

Nickelodeon was streaming the game with shitty sound alike voices. it was great watching this live

i watched the second half with sponge bob live and let me tell you what, that was a great experience. there was 1/3 the amount of commercials and the commercials that i did end up sitting though were movie trailers and various local stuff. they would cut back to the game early for wide shots with sponge bob characters wandering on the field. my 8 year old didn't give a fuck but i sure enjoyed watching football. and the commentators were not over bearing. they would let the superbowl just breeft a little bit sometimes and just not talk.
10/10 would watch it this way again. would love to see mnf like this.

It is funny as this is all anybody is talking about right now. Not the Chiefs winning another Super Bowl but Kelce being a violently angry wigger. I've been seeing a lot of Taylor Swift fans telling her to dump his ass. I'm inclined to agree with them. Kelce's ex talked about how he has anger management issues and was emotionally abusive. A lot of people disregard what she said thinking she was just a jealous ex scorned. Now, with what we saw, there may be evidence to back up those claims. If he treated his coach like this I can only imagine how he treats his woman in private. This backfired tremendously for Goodell. I think Taylor will break up with him during the off season. I expect another scathing break up song that spills the tea sometime this year.
Do you think Kelce beats Taylor Swift?

Do you think Kelce beats Taylor Swift?
I don't think he does... yet. Their relationship is still pretty young and they are in the "honeymoon phase". Once that novelty wears off I think Kelce will show Taylor who he really is. Abusive men tend to hide who they really are in order to sucker women but once they get comfortable the mask slips. Taylor caught a glimpse at who the real Travis Kelce is. Time will tell with what she does. As Maya Angelo once said; "When somebody shows you who they are believe them the first time."

I don't give a shit about football, but here's my strong opinion about Taylor Swift. And if this annoys you, you're stupid.

And this is exactly why people who watch football are sick of Taylor Swift. Nonstop strong opinions about something entirely inconsequential to the game just because she is fucking one of the players.

Should we show a slow-mo of the play, a different camera angle, or the reaction of the coach or players? Nope, time for another Swift closeup reaction shot.

Yeah, it's annoying to see people go to this thread and shit it up by saying they don't care about sportsball. It's quite pathetic.
I mean, you could talk about how Jake Moody probably saved the Chiefs super bowl chances with that blocked extra point. You could talk about how Mahomes began to just scramble towards the end to break down the Chiefs defense. You could talk about how Shanahan has blown 3 super bowls and an NFC championship game or the fact that at overtime, there was no good option. But instead we get this shit in 15 fucking pages.

Speaking of which, this was a good point brought up after the super bowl. With the changes to overtime and everyone getting the ball, I still don't think Shanahan made the wrong call. The Chiefs were walking all over that San Francisco defense, so sending them right back out there in overtime was just asking to give up a touchdown real easy and forcing San Francisco to score a touchdown. So taking the ball was the smart move. You also know that KC was throwing insane pressure that nearly resulted in a sac on third down. So then you are left with taking a risk of not putting up any points or taking the 3 and hoping your defense holds out. If you don't get the first down, then KC just needs a field goal. And their kicker just set the record for longest FG in super bowl history. So while its fun to laugh about him blowing leads in the Super Bowl, I can't really blame him for overtime

Also, there's the funny fact that due to their bitching and getting the rule change 3 years ago, the Bills inadvertently helped the Chiefs win this SB.

Resting the defense was a good idea. Settling for a FG was not. You know Mahomes is going to get a TD.

Unless Shanny was hoping for some miracle turnover.

Ok so you go for it on 4th down and you don't get the points. Now you are stuck with Mahomes driving and he doesn't need a touchdown but a field goal. Defending a team that needs a touchdown is easier than a team that needs a field goal.

I think they go for it on 4th down if Purdy just missed a pass but the fact that he was nearly sacked on 3rd down probably scared Shanahan into taking the points. I just don't think there was a good call to make at that point and he had to just give himself the best chance to win in an unwinnable situation

I still don't think that excuses the play calling. It was 3rd down and you've got Chris fucking Jones ready to jump on little white boi ass. KC has been incredibly predictable this year defensively because they almost always blitz on 3rd down and short yardage. They would have likely rushed on 4th down as well.

Just wait til They find out She's actually Zena LaVey. That will really blow the AWFLs minds.
Holy shit you're right! As a lifelong and long-suffering Cowboys fan (Fuck Jerry Jones!), seeing Dak & the boys fall short yet again, I was honestly hoping to see a longshot Detroit vs. Browns battle of the underdogs Superbowl, but since that didn't pan out, I would have rather have seen the 49ers get the win. Basically anybody but the fucking Chiefs. I just hate the astroturfing and other means used to push that broccoli-haired faggot and overrated offense to the forefront. Yeah, they have talent, but the blatant favortism and coddling that Mahomes gets most of the time is infuriating, and this is coming from someone who is a big Brady fan. Most of all, I hate the ever-increasing push away from football and into pozzed "general audience" that Roger Goodell has been pushing the NFL towards over the last decade. And yes, the whole focus on Taylor Swift is annoying as well. She's a relative fart in the wind for NFL ratings, her and her fan base will move on eventually and the NFL will be at a loss for the drop in ratings once they go back to normal levels, and Travis Kelce was a step above a literally-who before The Relationship™️ was released.

That being said, from here on out, I will abandon everything about football, and abandon all of the other inane conspiracy theories about Taylor Swift, and autisticly and wholeheartedly dive into the Taylor Swift is a Zeena LaVey clone theory without a second thought. do-you-think-taylor-looks-like-zeena-lavey-v0-d2n3c0yy8s0c1.jpg

Ok, can we shut the fuck up about "Tay-Tay", dumb nigger celebrities, one-time commercials, and get back to actually discussion about football , pretty please? :optimistic:

I don't know who it was, but there was a Chiefs player just standing there with his hands out trying to figure if he could touch the ball. If he had just scooped it up, it may have turned into a safety and saved everyone some time and heartache.

That's fun part of 3rd down against the Chiefs. Sure, somebody is blitzing, but who? If offenses could figure that out they wouldn't have racked up the most unblocked rushers this season.
