Dan Patrick had an absolute tranny tier take on Kelce’s press conference.

The way they were mocking his tears was cringe-worthy. Kelce has always worn his emotions on his sleeve, and I’m ready to cut Offensive Linemen all the slack that they need because of how much pain these guys take.

Also, maybe the niggers who do your research could have found out that the New Heights podcast was super popular before ANY of this Taylor Swift hype train shit.

Dan, if you ever make it out to Philly, I certainly hope that you get served some of Kensington Avenue’s finest.

Have they not seen other player retirement press conferences? Most players cry or get emotional.

It's why sportsball to most people is considered emotional because of the athletes doing more things amazing for the teams and the organizations

I wish it was Dan Patrick who kicked the bucket instead of Chris Mortenson. What an absolute garbage human being.

I feel like a fool for listening to his podcast during 2015-17. Thank god, I stopped listening to him by then. He's a complete retard and a half

I get Cousins wanting to test the market, but I think he's gonna find out the hard way that teams "Just a QB away from being a playoff contender" are anything but.

If he wants to leave, he's more then welcome to. But leaving behind the best WR and 3rd best TE in the league is something a lot would find perplexing.

We're too far back at 11 to be able to trade up for a QB without sacrificing too much future capital. If Kirko Chainz walks, I'd like to see what Wilson can do on a cheap deal. If he throws redzone interceptions to Malcolm Butler all season, then we get a better draft pick.

Ways she goes, boys.

The problem Minnesota has is who do they pay? You've got the cap room for a star WR or a star QB. Can't have both and can't move up in the draft because that would require too much capital. Personally, I'd give Jefferson the money and sign Russ to the vet minimum since Denver would be on the hook for 90% of his salary anyway. At least then you'd have a WR that can help your new QB adjust to the system and maybe regain his confidence to be a top 10 QB we know he can be.

The other thing you could do would be to sign Kirk and trade up to get a WR in the draft, but that seems like a far gone option. You certainly don't want to get rid of top talent, but the WR class this year is strong and you could easily mold them to be elite players.

Looks like Justin Simmons is the first cap casualty of the Russell Wilson contract.

Surprisingly deep free agent class for safeties this year. Though, please, be warned if your team tries to sign Jamal Adams. Quandre Diggs might return to form on a new team, his total lack of effort this season may be due to low morale, but Adams' injuries after joining the Seahawks have robbed him of what he was good at and made what he was mediocre at a liability. He doesn't have the speed to stuff the run or force a wideout to the sideline anymore, and while he was always more of a SS/LB hybrid than a coverage guy, this is the first season where his team's allowed passer rating actually went down once he got benched.

I'm seeing rumors of Russel Wilson being picked up by Las Vegas. I'm a Chiefs fan and can gladly say, that's fucking hilarious and I want the memes to rise from this shit. For people who don't track the AFC West, while the Raiders and Chiefs are a known rivalry. The Broncos and Raiders fucking HATE each other. I believe it was a big deal before but after the Aqib Talib vs Michael Crabtree fight back in 2015, it became THE rivalry of the AFCW.

This happens all the time in the league though, we often see players who are good and improve at their position not get resigned. Then turn to the rival team to sign with them and get their chance to chase a bag or two. Richard Sherman did this by signing with San Francisco, who was a rival to the Seahawks. As well as Bobby Wagner back in 2022 who joined the L.A. Rams, who was also a Seahawk.

Russel Wilson has potential when he has an offense that allows him to run, or have an on the fly movement. In Seattle he often had a WR run a short route that would immediately look back just to follow him and be the dump off guy.

AB making fun of Russell Wilson's current situation. AB's been coming with the heaters lately though, not going to lie.

I just can't see Wilson as a Raider. Not with the historical culture of the Raiders being some of the meanest sons of bitches to take a gridiron. They're definitely on a come up, but Russel isn't going to be a good fit culturally. Would make for some great memes tho.

AB has been on a roll lately. If Russell goes to Pittsburgh, AB is gonna shit a brick.

Some notable quarterback news:

  • Russell Wilson is apparently nearing a one-year deal with the Steelers
  • Baker Mayfield re-signed with the Bucs for three years for $100 million (half of it being guaranteed money)
  • New England is reportedly set to trade Mac Jones to Jacksonville on Wednesday

On the defensive side of things, the Chiefs re-signed Chris Jones to a five-year deal with $95 million in guaranteed money. Meanwhile Fletcher Cox has announced that he's following teammate Jason Kelce and retiring after spending a dozen seasons in the NFL, all with Philadelphia. Kelce and Cox rank second and third respectively for games played as an Eagle.
