Giants, this is why you're bums. You let Barkley go. Now the Eagles get to have a top 3 runningback of the league.
The Giants did try to sign him a while ago but he wanted CMC money. Then after a while, they figured it wasn't worth the hassle.

Also the media response to the Giants with Barkley was always going to be negative. The Giants are dumb if they sign him, or they are dumb for letting him walk. The media seemed determined to attack the Giants for any decision they made.

I don't watch much football commentary other than Perna and Mcaffe, so I more or less trusted Pat when he said it was gonna breathe new life in to the kickoff. And then it's just been nothing but touchbacks in these first two games like it's been for years. Never trusting that roided up shill to sell me on the league's retarded decisions ever again.

Ironically the third stringer bums in the pre-season made it interesting a few times in the games I watched, but I think that's the most "dynamic" we'll see it be this season.
Yeah word is that for this first season coaches are just going to go for touchbacks. Everyone is waiting until someone figures out how to properly do kickoffs and then start copying them. It'll probably take until next season until someone gets mad enough to actually try to scheme something up.

Grace is breaking down right now and saying God must really hate her.

That's very relatable. I do the same thing during football season.
As true as the sun rises. I don't deserve what happened last night, yet it still happens.

Three. Fucking. Turnovers. In the Eagles' red zone.
And the Packers turned that into 9 whole points.
Pathetic. I'm glad Love is probably injured for the rest of the season, they don't deserve success.
Look man, we are already down and drinking more than normal. No need to rub it in.

Also, Love is believed to have an MCL injury and will be out 3-4 weeks if thats the case

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an MCL sprain Friday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The 25-year-old reportedly avoided a season-ending injury but is expected to miss some time. Green Bay hopes its star signal-caller misses three-to-four weeks, but he will undergo further testing, sources told ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Love exited the contest on the team's final drive of the game. He was helped off by medical staff, and backup Malik Willis was forced into the game for the final two plays.

As a bears fan, I worry they'll still find a way to get swept by the packers.
If a Packers backup out-balls Caleb Williams, I'm about to be the most obnoxious fucking person on the Internet whenever the Bears are mentioned.

I woke up this morning filled with optimism and cope. I believe in Sam Darnold, I think he will lead my Vikings to a wildcard game where we will take on the Atlanta Falcons. That's where Kirko will do what he never could do for us, and that's win the Vikings a playoff game. Also at the end of the season Aaron Rogers will be chased out of NY and into our loving arms for a cool crisp league minimum one year deal.

Will this any of this actually happen? Probably not.
Would it be funny? Absolutely.

Dak Prescott got his extension: $240 million over four years. $231 million of it is guaranteed.
Bleh, I don't hate Dak as much as I used to (I think coaching is the true crux of our problems), but I really didn't want us to break the bank for him. I know inflation for Quarterbacks is huge but he does not have the results for a huge deal like this IMO but oh well. Either way it's still our year frfr.

Ok I think #87 for the Bengals has already clinched the most embarrassing turnover of the week

I need another drink

The Green Bay Packers have contacted quarterback Ryan Tannehill about potentially signing with the club, sources told Dianna Russini of The Athletic.

Tannehill is a free agent after spending the last five seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He suited up in 10 contests (eight starts) in 2023, throwing for 1,616 yards with four touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love reportedly suffered an MCL sprain in Friday's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was assisted off the field by medical personnel on the team's final drive.

Green Bay hopes Love only misses three-to-four weeks, but he will undergo further testing.

The Packers acquired quarterback Malik Willis in a trade with the Titans on Aug. 26. He was thrust into the game in relief of Love and has three career starts after being a third-round pick in the 2022 draft. Sean Clifford is on the practice squad.

Tannehill, 36, is 81-70 in 151 career starts split between with the Titans and Miami Dolphins.

He will make history for being the only rapper to have his own Super Bowl Halftime Show, and there’s people on X alleging he’ll mock Drake yet again. The first time he performed was with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Bilge and Eminem.

Also, the NFL made a commercial with him on the field throwing footballs to ghosts:
