lowkey I think that now that, between the general talent level of pocket passing QBs declining and DCs adjusting to the new rules, we're going back to the 90's/early 2000's where the RB was the star offensive player for most teams.
It's a massive advantage pinning a LB to QB spy. It's been going on in college for a while and I don't think we'll really see dink and doink pocket passers very much again.

I love seeing people like Mike McDaniel fail. That pseudo-intellectual Colin Cowherd does nothing but suck on the nuts of offensive coaches and how defensive coaches are terrible. Offensive Mastermind Mike McDaniel couldn't do shit against the "shitty" defensive minded Sean McDermott at home.

Seems like the NFL really wanted McDaniel to succeed because of the whole BIRACIAL thing. The media really played him up as the second coming when he got hired by Miami, and every damn article made sure to mention his mutt background.

He helped design a bunch of run plays that totally worked because of his brain and not the fact that San Fransisco had an amazing offensive line and CMC running it
Not that I'm defending him as a coach, but McCaffrey wasn't playing for San Francisco when he was coaching there.

I can't even be mad about that 3rd and long frustration with the last Seahawks drive, Jerod Mayo's defense, especially the secondary, panned out way better than I expected.
He wasn't a breakout star of a player, the meme that the middling guys who put in the work become the best coaches keeps delivering.

C'est la vie...

Are the saints good this year? or have they just been fortunate to start their season against a dogshit team like Panthers, and a massively overrated team like the Cowboys?

Ton of flags in this game already for both teams, and frankly a bunch of flags that should've been thrown but weren't.

Hufanga's absence is probably hurting us more than McCaffrey's at this point. At least we scored before half, if it wasn't for Warner's interception we'd be fucked.
