Saints/Carr bros... I don't feel so good
I suspect that bridge is thoroughly burned on both sides, since he spent the intervening 20 years after leaving them in the lurch tormenting the organization. With the Jets firing Robert Saleh, Bill Belichick now has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever in the History of the NFL.
Rodger's ego is too big to let Bill take any credit for his attempt to one-man-marching band the Jets to the Superbowl, so I kind of doubt it. Much like Mike McCarthy is Jerry Jones sockpuppet, whoever comes in next as HC in NJ will soley be a mouthpiece of Aaron. With the Jets firing Robert Saleh, Bill Belichick now has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever in the History of the NFL.
On the subject of Brett Favre and this threadBut I thought that goofy nigga loved Carr? Guess winning is more important in the end than friendship.
And more hating on Rodgers and now Jets legend Favre. The jealousy is palpable.

He won Super Bowl XXXI is what he did! He was a great multi era gunslinger! and in this thread, Brett Favre is a hero, end of story.
Bonus Post
NOBODY HAS PARKINSONS! And I don't want to hear that word again in here!
If I remember the story right, that bar was offering free drinks if the Jets lost, then Game 1 happened and Rodgers tore his Achillies, so everyone went to town. There was a Milwaukee bar last season that promised free drinks for every game Rodgers lost for the Jets because he "betrayed" us by Gutie and the higher ups wanting to move on to Jordan Love and also offloaded his big contract onto the Jets(?).
Yes and also yes, the same deal got offered again by the same salty fucks. Ingrates can't appreciate good football if it's in the wrong colors. Sam Darnold might be outballing old man Rodgers for the Vikings position though. If I remember the story right, that bar was offering free drinks if the Jets lost, then Game 1 happened and Rodgers tore his Achillies, so everyone went to town.
I remember looking into Favre's involvement in the scandal and the hate towards him always seemed so exaggerated. People act like he went to poor people's houses, took their money, and used it to support terrorists. If he's guilty, he's guilty, but he wasn't at the top mishandling the money. Plus the volleyball facility actually got built. How many times do politicians take money from projects/funds and nothing ever gets built. The Farve hate also is incredibly contrived, twitter acts like it's a bigger deal that he misappropriated some federal funds that thousands of people stole in various ways to build a gym for a school. The same people still worship all of the people DUI'ing and crashing cars and beating their wife/gf as long as they're playing well. Fuck them. Farve and Rodgers are always my guys.
I don't think it's that people HATE Russel Wilson(well maybe Broncos fans, and justifiably), it's just too easy to laugh at him being a corny weirdo; especially after he won a superbowl and two NFCCG, and then has never been able to recapture that success since. You can't be a dorky self-serious weirdo AND fail to deliver. If Mahomes ever falls off he'll probably be treated the same way, he's a lot like Russ in that he's just a very odd guy, but 3 superbowls in 5 years, and potentially gearing up for a threepeat shuts people up.I remember looking into Favre's involvement in the scandal and the hate towards him always seemed so exaggerated. I also think alot of the hate on Russel Wilson is exaggerated. Sure he's weird and fake, but it's hardly the end of the world.
I definitely rose to moderately disliking Russ as a Seahawks fan during the 2021 season, and I find him incredibly insincere, but hate is definitely too strong a word.I don't think it's that people HATE Russel Wilson(well maybe Broncos fans, and justifiably), it's just too easy to laugh at him being a corny weirdo; especially after he won a superbowl and two NFCCG, and then has never been able to recapture that success since. Russ needs to do a heel turn. Stop being such a soppy bitch, make a media story out of the QB controversy you're in middle of un Pittsburg, ironically him being an asshole (and admittedly, a better player) would shut a lot of people up. If he acted like he has his bizarre talent agency surrogates do for him, himself, people would only be talking about how bad he's regressed as a player instead of what an autistic spectacle he is.I definitely rose to moderately disliking Russ as a Seahawks fan during the 2021 season, and I find him incredibly insincere, but hate is definitely too strong a word.
It was a prick move to have his people leaking negative stories to local media, trying to get Pete fired, all while insisting he wanted to retire a Seahawk while actively trying to force a trade behind the scenes.
But after the hilarity that was 2022 and what he netted for us by leaving, I mostly just view him now as a very flawed person who would probably do better to embrace his massive ego than try so, so hard to hide it.
That fool is washed up, and just needs to retire.Russ needs to do a heel turn. I raise you Rodgers joining Da Bears and repeating everything else as Favre in Minnesota.May Jordan Love turn out to be as Mid as every other overpaid QB, and may Rodgers complete the Farve Retirement Tour and go to the Vikings to piss everyone off.
Brett Favre did nothing more than a thousand rich kikes have done before, take the lax federal grant money programs for a ride. Only he did it while being a goyim and having the wrong politics.I remember looking into Favre's involvement in the scandal and the hate towards him always seemed so exaggerated.
